A glimpse of my journey : Karla's introduction blog

Hi! I am Karla Marie, but you can call me Kalay as most of the people I know call me. I am 20 years old and a third year hospitality management student in one of the universities here in Cebu. Being a hospitality management student is fun and stressful at the same time because there is a lot of things to do, or we have different courses to study, such as international cuisine. In that course, the instructor teaches us about different kinds of cuisine all over the world, just like Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Indian cuisine, and many more As well as mixing drinks, housekeeping, food and beverage, bread and pastry, front office and spa. With this course, I gained knowledge,NCII certification because it is required in the degree program that i take and skills in different aspects of hospitality. To be honest I am very shy as a person, and my course help me get though it. Now, I can interact with different kinds of people. My journey as a Hospitality management student is like a roler coaster ride. This is the second course that i want to take and i didn't regret taking it instead of Bachelor of Science Elementary Education.

I love having karaoke with my friends as well as having karaoke alone. I usually do karaoke once a week and I know my neighbors are so done with my voice, and I think they memorized the song I always sing already. The song that i really like to sing is Chasing Pavements by Adelle, aside from that i also love listening to music and one of my favorite song is Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I have lots of favorite artist and bands which include Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Westlife, NSync, Westlife and many more. I have favorite artist too in my country and can't name them one by one lol.

I also love watching dragon ball especially when I eat dinner. I watch the whole 3 of its series more than 5 times. Playing online games is my kind of stress reliever, sometimes cause of stress, especially when I always lose the game lol.

I love to travel anywhere in the city but can not do it sometimes because of school. My schedule is from monday to friday and sometime during weekends i will just stay at our house to rest. This time i went to IT park and visit the Ayala mall to see if the mall really looks good as what other people say. It is really good there's a lot of big buldings which makes me amazed because it was my first time to see it.

When i was 13 i started reading ebook stories the first story that i red is A house full of hunks and i forgot its author already lol i have more than fifty stories in ebook before because my friend shared it to me through bluetooth. Until i know wattpad, it is more convenient than e book because you just have to make an account and you can save any stories you want offline you just have to search for its tittle. My favorite author back then is owwsic because his story contains laughter, butterfly in stomach haha heartache and many more. the most story of him that i love the most is That promdi girl but sadly his account got banned that's why i moved to KIB he is a wattpad author as well and my favorite series of his story is cardinal series. It is really good to read you can feel lot's of emotions while reading it including excitement. I want to re-read it soon.

Aside from reading ebook and wattpad i also like to go to our neighborhood to play with my childhood friends we play hide and seek,chasing person, chinese garter, jumping rope, cards and many more. My childhood is so awesome that i want to get back to that time again haha because before we are just care free we just play, sleep and eat. Now that we are getting older we realized what is the adulthood is we have to do is to strive hard so that we could live our life to the fullest or to live the life that we imagined.

I like hanging out with friends specialy during our free time just like yesterday we don't have class in the afternoon so we decided to go to my friends house to eat and talk about our lives. It is really good to hang out with your friends sometimes because they can heal you in someways of your life without them knowing and noticing it

I joined this platform to be able to express what I felt through blogging and share my story at the same time. I also want to read someone else blog so that i will gain knowledge or to know how their day went.

I contribute to Hive by sharing stories that might make them feel motivated and to not give up easily, especially when life is not good to them with them. Because in my blog I only spread positivity and avoid negativity. I discovered Hive because my classmate introduced me to this site. The moment she told us about it, I was already interested because I also love writing and expressing how I felt through text, and now I know where to post it. Thanks to my classmate @chrmshly, who introduced me to this site!
