Hi! my name is Kenneth Bryan Ebbes and I was born on February 20, 1991 at Banengbeng, Sablan, Benguet. My mother's name is Remedios Ebbes, a teacher in primary school while my dad's name is Rudolfo Ebbes, a jeepney driver before. As of now he can't manage to drive a jeepney due to old age and health condition. Right now, he's gardening for some vegetables near our house in Banengbeng.
At a young age, I used to go to the garden as well together with my siblings. I am the first child in our family and I have 5 siblings, 5 boys and 1 girl. I have one niece and she's so beautiful, her name is Yasmin Rei. She's one of our joy in our family. There were a lot of good memories when I was young. I was spoiled by my grandmother who always gives whatever I want, specially food and drinks. My grandmother before owns a store so whatever I pick at her store, she always gives me. Even though I eat and drink a lot of her store items, she doesn't care as long as I am happy. When she died, I was so sad and I couldn't accept it, it really pained me a lot.
I studied primary school in Banengbeng, Sablan Benguet where my teacher is my mom and the school is just 50 meters away from our house. Sounds like our private school because the name of the school is EBBES Elementary School but it's not. It was donated by one of our ancestors who's last name was EBBES also. Everyone who doesn't know this school thinks that it's ours and it looks so funny because it kinda makde us rich at an instance.
I am married to Loida Ebbes for three years and counting and still waiting for our own blessing as well. We got married and live here in Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet. We built our own house in here which made us really felt so blessed.
I studied secondary education at Don Bosco for two years (first year and second year) then I was transferrred to Benguet National high School ( for 3rd year and 4th year) where my wife studied also however I haven't met her there. We never met. We met after our studies in college. We were in the right age but not in the right stage and mind when we met each other.
After highschool, I continued my studies at Saint Luis University for 1st semester only wth the course Geodetic Engineering. I had nose bleed so I decided to shift course and school. I went to CCDC and studied criminology in there. I was blessed and I was able to graduate and passed the board exam.
During my younger days, I was drunkard and had vices. When I met the Lord, I decided to study Theology at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church Global Ministries. I had 1 year theology and six months SAF which means Special Action Force in God's Kingdom. In here I learned deeper about my God that I serve. I have learned and applied the things that was revealed to me.
My career😃
I wasn't blessed to be employed as a police officer due to my weight and even as a BJMP. There were a lot of requirements and some of them I was able to meet however some didn't surpassed my abilities. I had a lot of trainings before just to make sure I can make it. My parents really pushed me further however it wasn't my destiny. I tried networking and it didn't work as well.I applied at CCMI as an account officer. We process loan their, collect loans and check every client who are willing to apply for loans. We go to their places to inspect and talk to them because we are in the field not office work or paper work. I experienced a lot of mistreatments their like removing the break of my own motorcycle for travelling. I couldn't talk becuase I was new then. I decided to resign then due to their bad attitude and habbits.
My salary wasn't enough so I deided to shift. I tried "Buy & Sell" up to now I'm on it. I am very blessed in this field because I am able to market and sell every motorcycle that I sell through online. As the others, I started to sell the old versions and cheaper ones. For more than three years, I sold plenty of motorcycles already. Right now, I can sell lands, property and car as well depending if there are sellers who will contact me as a middleman. It really pays off to experience small things to big things.
Renewed life!
I am also a volunteer musician at church. I can play the drums, guitar and base. I am so blessed because I have known my Lord and Savior. Before, I had so many vices but no, I was able to overcome them through Christ Jesus. I was encouraged also by our Senior Pastor Romy Estacio and his wife Jullah Estacio. Even though they always see me drunk, they had always prayed for me and encouraged me until I had overcome through Christ. I was really really thankful for this happened to my life.
I have deligently attended services at church. My freinds became christians unlike before.
I now wanted more of my life now with Jesus. I am very thankful for all my freinds, wife and church mates who had encouraged and taught me to be better. I thought I couldn't do it but I was able to do it. My life had more meaning and more enjoyable than before.
I am not a writer however my wife encouraged me inorder to try and take a shot. I was really nervous but thanks to @suteru for inviting me here to share my life experiences, hobbies, talent if there is while earning.

I am glad you had the courage to resign from your job when faced with maltreatment, not many people can do that. I'd always say better to be unemployed and happy than being employed and miserable. So how does it feel having your mom as your teacher 😃... Did you get any special treatment?
