Seniors' Day (reminiscing my high school days)

Scrolling through my old phone's gallery brings back many memories, particularly from high school. And lots of people may relate to my opinion that high school is the best time of our lives as teenagers. So, going to what was going on, I saw photos from our Seniors Day, which was a retreat where we did fun things and had a lovely socialization night. I was one of the organizers because I am the Vice President of our senior high school, so I recall being busy at the time and having to balance my schoolwork with extracurricular activities. It took us 1 month to prepare for the event, we did oculars for the games, shopping for supplies and preparing for the foods for the Senior’s Night.
Our first activity is a Color and Light Run. My day began at 5 a.m., since we needed to prepare for the upcoming event. We gave them colorful powder to blast on others and themselves, we also gave them light sticks since it's still dark when the event started. We began the run by doing Zumba dances to warm up our bodies because it was quite a distance, and we used hoses to soak them so the powder would attach to their bodies and clothes. We also have colored water to get them soaked. The race lasted approximately an hour and 30 minutes, and when we arrived at our location, we burst different colors into the air, which looks beautiful in pictures.

We let them recover and have breakfast after the exhausting Color Fun Run, but we didn't let them go home since we had arranged activities for them, which we named the Amazing Race. We placed various obstacles for them to conquer and the team that finishes first is the winner. For example, we require them to eat horrible stuff such as raw onion, raw okra, or a smoothie including raw onion and okra, and they must crawl through a muddy paths. Overall, we had a great time that day, but the real fun started later that night when the party began.
Denims and Diamonds was the theme of our Socials Night, and we dressed in both jeans and elegant outfits. And everybody looks stunning. We worked so hard to make that night as memorable as possible. We did everything, from the backdrop to the food, and I enjoyed every minute of it. We also have judges who provide titles like Denim King and Queen, Face of the Night, and Prince and Princess of the Night. Unfortunately, I did not receive an award that night, but at least I felt lovely and confident.
