Herkese merhabaaaa!!!

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Bugün sizinle daha önce gittiğimiz ama içerisindeki güzellikleri görmediğimiz bir yere gidiyoruz. Zaten son iki yazımda size bir misafirimin olduğundan bahsetmiştim ve bu seferde onun hayran olduğu, benimde çocukluğumun geçtiği yer olan meşhur Sultan Ahmet Camii'ne gidiyoruz.

Bu 5 günlük gezi boyunca bir tane daha camimiz olacak ama tabii ki orası Sultan Ahmet Camii kadar gösterişli değil.

Hem içi hem de dışı güzel olan bu camii neyse ki Ayasofya ya da çevredeki diğer tarihi eserler gibi ücretli değil. Malum dün bahsettiğim gibi Yerebatan Sarnıcı'na girebilmek için bir miktar giriş ücreti vermek zorunda kalmıştık. Sultan Ahmet için ise tek gerekli olan şey, eğer bir kadınsanız, başınızı ve gerekli vucüt kısımlarınızı kıyafetler ile kapatmanız. Ben genellikle, kışın sürekli boynumda bulunan atkımı kullanıyorum saçlarımı örtmek için.

Bu gidişimde ise dışarıdan fotoğraf çekmeyi unuttum ne yazık ki ama sonra aklıma geçen yıl bu zamanlarda yine gittiğim geldi ve size bu camiyi gösterebilmek için bu fotoğrafı yeniden kullanıyorum. Asıl yazımı bu link'te bulabilirsiniz.

Dediğim gibi amacım size bu caminin hem içini hem de dışını gösterebilmek. Dışını gördüğümüze göre içeri girebiliriz.

İçeri girerken elbette özellikle namaz kılmak isterseniz başka bir bölüme yönlendiriliyorsunuz. İnsanların namaz kılanları rahatsız etmemesi için şık bir barikat ile bölüm ayrılmış durumda.

Ayrılan yerin yazısını yukarıdaki fotoğrafta görebilirsiniz. Kuzenim içeriye girdiği andan itibaren kafasını hiç aşağıya indirmedi ve sürekli çok güzel olduğunu belirtti. Gerçekten de çok güzel. Neredeyse bütün işlemelerin özenli olduğunu rahatlıkla görebiliryorsunuz.

İçerisi rengarenk ve parlak. Işıklar bazen işlemelerin güzelliklerinden daha fazla ilginizi çekebiliyor fakat bu hâliyle de bir başyapıt denilebilir.

Normalde benim fotoğraflarımdan ve giflerimden gördüğünüzden çok daha parlak bir yer olduğunu söylemek mümkün ama gözlerinizi alıp da ibadet etmenizi engelleyecek kadar da parlak değil. İkisinin ortasını bulmayı başarabilmişler. İnce işlemeleri oldukça net bir şekilde görebilmek de mümkün ve bu yüzden de beni her zaman hayran bırakan bir auraya sahip. Normalde, kendi deneyim ve düşüncelerimden dolayı, camileri/içindeki insanları pek sevmem ama Sultan Ahmet'in yeri bende başkadır. Mesela Ayasofya'yı da cami hâliyle sevemedim ki Ayasofya da bir başyapıttır.

Bazı gereksizler ibadet yerine yalan söyleyerek girdiklerinden olsa gerek fotoğrafta dikilip de tavana bakanları görebilirsiniz sanırım. İnananların saygısı yokken inanmayanlardan saygı bekleyen tek din sanırım... Neyse. Politik ve dini söylemlere girişmeyeceğime dair kendime söz verdim.

Sanırım bu kadardı. Her ne kadar sultan Ahmet Camii büyük bir cami olsa da ziyaretçilerin giriş sağlayabileceği noktalar kısıtlı ki burada da ziyaret saatleri içerisinde oldukça kalabalık. Ayrıca ne yazık ki çıkarıp caminin ayakkabı bölümüne bıraktığınız ayakkabıları bulamama şansınız da olduğundan dolayı size tavsiyem Türkiye'deki bütün camilere boş bir poşetle gitmeniz. Ayakkabınızı bu poşete koyduğunuz takdirde size yanınızda taşımanız için izin vereceklerdir. Buna izin vermeyeni görmedim.

Evet, minik tavsiyemi de verdiğime göre bugünlük de benden bu kadar. Gezimiz devam edecek, sonuçta İstanbul bazı ülkelerden bile büyük bir şehir. Gez gez bitmiyor, anlatarak dilimde tüy bitti. Yarın görüşmek üzere. Kendinize dikkat edin, sağlıkla, sevgiyle kalın ve unutmayın ki;

I hope you are well or are trying to be well. Today we are going to a place we have been to before but we have not seen the beauties in it. I have already told you in my last two blogs that I have a guest and this time we are going to the famous Blue Mosque, which she admires and where I spent my childhood.

We will have one more mosque during this 5-day trip, but of course it is not as spectacular as the Blue Mosque.

This mosque, which is beautiful both inside and outside, is fortunately not charged like Hagia Sophia or other historical monuments in the vicinity. As I mentioned yesterday, we had to pay an entrance fee to enter the Basilica Cistern. The only thing required for Blue Mosque, if you are a woman, is to cover your head and necessary body parts with clothes. I usually use my scarf, which is always around my neck in winter, to cover my hair.

As I said, my aim is to show you both the inside and the outside of this mosque. Now that we have seen the outside, we can go inside.

When you enter, of course, you are directed to another section especially if you want to pray. The section is separated by an elegant barricade so that people do not disturb those who pray.

You can see the inscription of the reserved place in the photo above. From the moment my cousin entered the place, he never lowered his head and kept saying that it was very beautiful. It really is very beautiful. You can easily see that almost all the engravings are elaborate.

It is colourful and bright inside. The lights sometimes attract your attention more than the beauty of the embroidery, but it can be called a masterpiece as it is.

It's much brighter than what you normally see in my photos and gifs, but not so bright that you can't take your eyes and worship. They have managed to find the middle of the two. It is also possible to see the fine engravings quite clearly and that is why it has an aura that always fascinates me. Normally, because of my own experience and thoughts, I don't like mosques/the people in them, but Blue Mosque has a special place in my heart. For example, I could not like Hagia Sophia as a mosque, which is also a masterpiece.

I think you can see in the photo those who stand and look at the ceiling, because some unnecessary people enter the place of worship by lying. I think it is the only religion that expects respect from non-believers while believers have no respect... Anyway. I promised myself not to engage in political and religious discourse.

I think that was it. Although this mosque is a big one, the points where visitors can enter are limited and it is quite crowded during visiting hours. Also, unfortunately, there is a chance that you will not find the shoes you left in the shoe section of the mosque, so I recommend you to go to all mosques in Türkiye with an empty bag. If you put your shoes in this bag, they will allow you to carry them with you. I have never seen anyone not allowing this.
