No, it's not true. It's pure fiction. I performed 2 tests to demonstrate why.
Since Elon has taken control of X, he has worked to implement some changes. Based on the test, the platform is designed to add a visibility limited for hateful conduct notification on the post in violation.
The claim was that because the platform does not add such notification on hate expressed towards "trans people" that the platform is thus biased.
The problem is the same outcome may be achieved by replacing "trans people" with "white people".
There ya have it folks. The anti-white conspiracy! (sarcasm)

Haha you are our wayward #web2 algorithm police out there! Working in digital marketing and social media, I am constantly checking the wind of algorithms and discovering many of their secret application changes as they go live. Funny to see the actual effect of those changes when released to the wild and then the effects of those effects.
Here is one that I made to illustrate how many small businesses and so-called social media marketers actually start out.

Really want to spend more time on Hive as the prodigal son returns from the mire of Web2 social media. It gets tiring.
Don't think I will ever overcome the algorithmic throttling so the only way is I establish an audience that will actually go and check my content because odds are it won't be seen otherwise.
The silver lining is it gives me perspective into the effects / effects of the effects as you mentioned. I'm like a guinea pig or maybe canary in the web2 coal mine. A display of what happens when you really push the envelope on these platforms.
Things that are hardly a concern for Web3.
Reading a post I think by @arcange or @theycallmedan recently about all of us being CEOs for Hive. I like to think of it rather as a huge global Board of Directors each as a touch point to potential new community members. Connecting with them where they are is the right thing to do for our vision even if #web2 platforms feel dirty and manipulated.
It may be a grind but don't let it slow you down.
