Hoy participe junto a mi esposo, lo que triplica mi felicidad en mi primera carrera oficial como runners, waoo no me lo creía, después de vencer varios obstáculos de salud, y muchas pero muchas horas de entrenamiento, llego el momento tan anhelado participar en una carrera oficial de runners, sintiéndome tal cual atleta de alto desempeño, ya que estarías entre grandes corredores, y es tar en la misma pista con ello le aporta mucho nivel al momento.

La carrera de hoy fue de 10K en la ciudad de maturin, ya tenia mas de un mes con un entrenamiento para participar en mi primera carrera oficial con chip, junto a mi esposo, y de esta manera comenzar a crear un historial de registros de velocidades, muy importante para los runners.
El Dia de hoy llegamos muy temprano al lugar, muy emocionados, casi no podia dormir, no me lo podia creer, lo que tanto imagine en mi mente hoy se haría realidad, soñaba con pararme debajo de uno de estos inflables que están en todas las carreras, asi como a la señal de marca salir entre una manada de corredores, asi tal cual lo veía en las películas, y bueno si que se hacen realidad los sueños. Llegamos a lugar donde seria la meta, y el evento central de la carrera, estaba todo muy bien organizado, al entrar al lugar ya comencé a sentirme en
un ambiente deportivo, viendo a runners por todos lados, calentando, saludándose entre si, me dije a mi viste que lo soñaste y aquí esta.

Today we arrived very early to the place, very excited, I almost could not sleep, I could not believe it, what I imagined so much in my mind today would come true, I dreamed of standing under one of these inflatables that are in all the races, as well as at the signal mark out among a herd of runners, just as I saw in the movies, and well if dreams come true. We arrived to the place where the finish line would be, and the main event of the race, it was all very well organized, when I entered the place I started to feel in a sporty atmosphere, seeing the runners, and I felt like I was in the middle of the race.
I saw runners all over the place, warming up, warming up, greeting each other, I said to myself, you saw that you dreamt it and here it is.
After warming up we got into position to wait for the start signal, and the race began, and I couldn't believe I was there, a dream that I could see further and further away, due to circumstances that presented themselves to me. At first we all went out together, and then we began to disperse at our own speeds, the first 5 km were at a pace lower than my normal jogging pace, as it says in the runner's booklet, jog at a pace lower than the training speed during the races, from kilometer 8 I felt a little weak, my speed went up a lot, I felt exhausted, because of the excitement of the race I could not rest well at night which is vital to be able to perform better.
Después de calentar nos colocamos en posición para esperar la señal de salida, y comenzó la carrera, y no me lo podia creer estar alli, sueño que cada vez veía mas lejos, debido a circunstancias que se me presentaron. Al principio salimos todos juntos, y después comenzamos a dispersarnos por nuestras propias velocidades, los primeros 5 km fueron a un ritmo mas bajo de mi ritmo de trote normal, tal cual dice la cartilla del corredor, trotar a ritmos mas bajos que la velocidad de entrenamiento durante las carreras ,a partir del kilometro 8 me sentí un poco débil, subió mucho mi velocidad, me sentía agotada, ya que por la emoción de la carrera no pude descansar bien en la noche lo que es vital para poder rendir mas.
I arrived at the finish line very happy, and proud of myself for not stopping until the end, I arrived very tired and very thirsty, waoo soaked with sweat a thousand times, but immensely happy, only those who know this experience understand me. The place of the finish line was well organized and with many attentions for the runners, refreshments, medical attention, and a lot of fun, the sporting party was felt everywhere, and I was happy to feel this first experience in the best way that I could, even better than I dreamed of.
Llegue a la meta muy feliz, y orgullosa de mi por no parar hasta el final, llego muy cansada y con mucha sed, waoo empapada de sudor a mil, pero inmensamente feliz, solo el que sabe de esta experiencia a me entiende. El lugar de la meta estaba bien organizado y con muchas atenciones para los runners refrigerios atencion medica, y mucha pero mucha diversión, la fiest deportiva se sentia por todos lados, y yo feliz de sentir esta primera experiencia de la mejor forma que me pudo tal cual, aun mejor que la que soñe.
Además de la sensación maravillosa que sentimos cuando atravesamos la llegada.
No hay palabras que puedan expresar lo que he sentido hoy, junto a mi esposo, correr juntos hace que sea aun mas maravillosa esta etapa. Y ya entiendo porque uno de los señores corredores de mas edad me decían, una vez que haga la primera carrera no vas a encontrar otra actividad que llene tanto el nivel de satisfacción como la de runners, Hoy en mi primera carrera oficial mis tiempos bajaron que esto es una de las premisas de un runners en cada carrera mejorar tiempo.
There are no words that can express what I have felt today, together with my husband, running together makes this stage even more wonderful. And I understand why one of the older runners told me, once you do your first race you won't find another activity that fills you with as much satisfaction as running. Today in my first official race my times went down, which is one of the premises of a runner in every race to improve his time.
