Today's class was a lot of fun, and the students really enjoyed it. They were excited throughout the entire process, even though they're not yet aware of the blessing they hold in their hands: possessing a Hive account and having experienced their first purchase with HBD, followed by receiving a 20% cashback from @thedistriator.

Many here on Hive have been receiving rewards for their content for years, but they've never directly experienced paying with HBD. They've always had to convert it to local currency. Our focus at "Hive goes to School" is to create circular economies in the schools where we teach.

These are the first students to pay for their breakfast with HBD. They were the first to publish their presentation on Hive. I hope the others get encouraged and do it too. There are almost 40 students in total.

With this publication, I also announce that Colegio Don Pedro Fe y Alegría @coldonpedro now accepts HBD as a form of payment. In this school, they manage the cafeteria themselves, unlike some schools that rent it out for someone else to operate. That's why everything the school charges can be paid with HBD, including monthly fees. This is the second school in Venezuela to accept HBD.

The cafeteria has all prices in bolivars, so we had to calculate the amount in HBD. The students ate two chicken pastries and a malt drink, for a value of $1.1 HBD. They received 0.22 in cashback. So that breakfast cost them 0.89 HBD. It seems pretty cheap to me, and I'd like to have breakfast there every day, hahaha.

La clase de hoy fue muy divertida y los estudiantes la disfrutaron mucho. Se emocionaron con todo el proceso, aunque todavía no son conscientes de la bendición que tienen en sus manos, al poseer una cuenta de Hive y el haber experimentado su primera compra con HBD y después recibir un cashback del 20% con @thedistriator

Muchos aquí en Hive, tienen años recibiendo recompensas por su contenido, pero nunca han vivido el pago directo con HBD. Siempre han tenido que cambiarlo a moneda local. Nuestro enfoque en "Hive va a la Escuela", es crear economías circulares en los colegios donde damos las clases.

Estos son los primeros estudiantes en pagar su desayuno con HBD. Fueron los primeros que publicaron su presentación en Hive. Espero que los demás se animen y lo hagan. Son casi 40 estudiantes en total.

En este colegio el cafetín lo manejan ellos mismos, a diferencia con algunos colegios que la alquilan para que otra persona lo trabaje. Es por eso que todo lo que cobre el colegio, puede ser pagado con HBD, incluidas las mensualidades. Este es el segundo colegio en Venezuela que acepta HBD,

El cafetín tiene todos los precios en bolívares, por lo que tuvimos que sacar el cálculo en HBD. Los estudiantes comieron dos pastelitos de pollo y una malta, por un valor de $1.1 HBD. Recibieron 0.22 de cashback. Así que ese desayuno les salió en 0.89 HBD. Me parece bien barato y quisiera desayunar todos los días ahí jajajaja.

The process is quite simple:
They just need to scan the QR code given by the administrator. They do this with @keychain. They verify the amount and pay.

Then, in Keychain itself, they click on the world icon and search for Distriator.
