[ENG/ESP] My beginning on Hive, learning made the difference.

I feel so attached to writing, I have always done it even when I was younger. In fact, the whole children do that in the family.

Recently I saw a handwritten story in the dining, I asked who wrote it and the last child of the house said he was the one who did it. He is just 10, I laughed and told the others; everyone was surprised and I concluded that it must have been passed through genes.

Being a blogger, challenges are something I love to take. I have bowed out of many and have conquered many as well, I believe not all challenges would be conquered because some are there to teach us lessons that would be needed to conquer a bigger challenge that would show up in our journey later in life.

I was introduced to Hive by @dreemsteem , but didn't join immediately. I waited for some time because I had a lot of tasks that would prevent me from having a proper engagement but I eventually joined and still didn't engage.

Deciding to give time to Hive was triggered by a joke that happened on Twitter, I did something in an attempt to win some Hive which made me a laughing stock on Twitter. After the event happened, I became very curious and decided to properly engage on the platform.

Hive is not a new platform to me, I have known the platform for a long time and I have lots of friends here from other platforms but I wasn't just ready for the challenge, the event I mentioned earlier inspired me.

The system on Hive is quite different from other platforms and I believe that's what makes the platform a great one amongst others. I haven't engaged for long to have lots of memories to be written about but the little I have means a lot to me.

The first challenge on Hive.

I started engaging immediately I joined the platform, I didn't understand things and I failed to learn first.

I added a few old faces, started commenting around and within a few minutes, I couldn't make comments anymore.

I thought I had violated a rule so I contacted @kenechukwu97 , he explained to me why and also rendered assistance by delegating some Hive power to me. It wasn't long after he did,

@dreemsteem also delegated some to me and they placed me back on the right track.

My first article

I didn't know that the introductory post come first so I made a post about food.

The post got some attention and I was happy about it.
It was after that @kenechukwu97 told me about the introductory post, taught me how to use the tags as well and I started all over by making my introduction post.

I made more posts after that but wasn't getting attention, every article ends with less than 1 Hive. It was difficult commenting around because I run out of power easily which I don't like, things seem more difficult than I thought.

I hit the end button.

After a few months of my inconsistent engagement on the platform, I decided to stop because I wasn't getting any attention or improvement on my account.

I did that in November 2021, I felt it was the right time for me. I didn't feel bad because I knew I wasn't lazy, I have other platforms that I engage on coupled with the fact that I am a farmer as well.

The fact that things were going as planned wasn't inspiring, I didn't apply the lesson that rough starts do have happy ending if we don't give up.

The return

The Twitter joke I mentioned earlier changed it all, I started to ask questions and two wonderful hivers ( @olawalium and @princessbusayo ) dedicated lots of time to make me understand a lot of things about the platform.

I started engaging again and there is little improvement in my account every day.

Should I say I was quick to start engaging on the platform?

I wasn't too quick, understanding the basics of the platform was what I failed to do then, and going back to learn from scratch has made a difference on my profile today and I still learning so I can get better every day.

In the course of learning, I joined the hive learners community. The journey feels different now and even if my article ends up without any reward, I still want to do more because I now enjoy what I am doing.

Just last night, I told @olawalium that Hive is spectacular. You can't run out of ideas on what to write about, there are always challenges and contests which serve as avenues for growth.

In life, I believe that everyone has the privilege to grow but not everyone opens themselves to growth. I am guilty of this as well but Hive has made me understand the importance of learning and growth, these things make us relevant in the world.

I still have a lot to say and will as time goes on but I will say this is just the beginning in accordance to the theme of the contest.

Me siento muy apegada a la escritura, siempre lo he hecho incluso cuando era más joven. De hecho, todos los niños lo hacen en la familia.

Hace poco vi un cuento escrito a mano en el comedor, pregunté quién lo había escrito y el último niño de la casa dijo que había sido él quien lo había hecho. Sólo tiene 10 años, me reí y se lo conté a los demás; todos se sorprendieron y llegué a la conclusión de que debía haberse transmitido por los genes.

Siendo bloguero, los retos son algo que me encanta aceptar. Creo que no todos los retos se superan porque algunos están ahí para enseñarnos lecciones que serán necesarias para superar un reto mayor que aparecerá en nuestro camino más adelante.

Fui introducido a Hive por @dreemsteem , pero no me uní inmediatamente. Esperé un tiempo porque tenía muchas tareas que me impedían tener un compromiso adecuado, pero finalmente me uní y seguí sin comprometerme.

La decisión de dedicarle tiempo a Hive fue provocada por una broma que ocurrió en Twitter, hice algo en un intento de ganar algo de Hive que me convirtió en el hazmerreír de Twitter. Después de que ocurriera el suceso, sentí mucha curiosidad y decidí comprometerme adecuadamente en la plataforma.

Hive no es una plataforma nueva para mí, conozco la plataforma desde hace mucho tiempo y tengo muchos amigos aquí de otras plataformas, pero no sólo estaba preparado para el reto, el evento que mencioné antes me inspiró.

El sistema de Hive es bastante diferente al de otras plataformas y creo que eso es lo que hace que la plataforma sea una de las mejores. No he participado durante mucho tiempo como para tener muchos recuerdos sobre los que escribir, pero lo poco que tengo significa mucho para mí.

El primer reto en Hive.

Empecé a participar nada más unirme a la plataforma, no entendía las cosas y me faltó aprender primero.

Añadí unas cuantas caras viejas, empecé a comentar por ahí y a los pocos minutos, ya no podía hacer comentarios.

Pensé que había violado una regla así que me puse en contacto con@kenechukwu97 , me explicó el porqué y también me prestó ayuda delegando algo de poder de Hive en mí. No pasó mucho tiempo después de que lo hiciera,

@dreemsteem también me delegó un poco y me colocaron de nuevo en el camino correcto.

Mi primer artículo

No sabía que el post de presentación es el primero así que hice un post sobre comida.

El post llamó la atención y me alegré de ello.
Fue después de que @kenechukwu97 me habló del post de introducción, me enseñó a usar las etiquetas también y empecé de nuevo haciendo mi post de introducción.

Hice más posts después de eso pero no estaba recibiendo atención, cada artículo termina con menos de 1 Hive. Fue difícil comentar por ahí porque me quedo sin energía fácilmente lo cual no me gusta, las cosas parecen más difíciles de lo que pensaba.

Le doy al botón de finalizar.

Después de unos meses de mi compromiso inconsistente en la plataforma, decidí dejarlo porque no estaba recibiendo ninguna atención o mejora en mi cuenta.

Lo hice en noviembre de 2021, sentí que era el momento adecuado para mí. No me sentí mal porque sabía que no era perezoso, tengo otras plataformas en las que me comprometo junto con el hecho de que también soy un agricultor.

El hecho de que las cosas salieran como estaba previsto no me inspiró, no apliqué la lección de que los comienzos difíciles tienen un final feliz si no nos rendimos.

El regreso

La broma de Twitter que mencioné antes lo cambió todo, empecé a hacer preguntas y dos maravillosos hivers ( @olawalium y @princessbusayo ) me dedicaron mucho tiempo muchas cosas de la plataforma.

Empecé a participar de nuevo y cada día hay una pequeña mejora en mi cuenta.

¿Debo decir que me apresuré a empezar a participar en la plataforma?

No fui demasiado rápido, entender los fundamentos de la plataforma fue lo que me faltó entonces, y volver a aprender desde cero ha marcado la diferencia en mi perfil hoy en día y sigo aprendiendo para poder mejorar cada día.

En el transcurso del aprendizaje, me uní a la comunidad de estudiantes de la colmena. El viaje se siente diferente ahora y aunque mi artículo termine sin ninguna recompensa, todavía quiero hacer más porque ahora disfruto de lo que estoy haciendo.

Anoche mismo le dije a @olawalium que Hive es espectacular. No te puedes quedar sin ideas sobre qué escribir, siempre hay retos y concursos que sirven como vías de crecimiento.

En la vida, creo que todo el mundo tiene el privilegio de crecer pero no todo el mundo se abre al crecimiento. Yo también soy culpable de esto, pero Hive me ha hecho comprender la importancia de aprender y crecer, estas cosas nos hacen relevantes en el mundo.

Todavía tengo mucho que decir y lo haré a medida que pase el tiempo pero diré que esto es sólo el principio de acuerdo con el tema del concurso.
