RE: Hive: A Complete Beginner's Guide (With Fun Doodles) Pt. 1

in Loving HIVE ❤3 years ago

Ah! Thank you so much for this. A lot of this I had to figure out in the first month I have been using Hive; I will definitely check out the other part as well! I am still having trouble understanding how to best tag posts, as well as being more mindful of the way I post. I guess that's a good thing! Cheers and thanks again!

My pleasure! I had to figure out a lot of it myself, even with some kind people helping me, so I know the feeling, lol.

I didn't mention tags much, but the overall idea is:

"Use tags that people are looking-for / interested-in."

Tags help you stand out and make your post more findable, searchable, and visible. If you use many obscure ones that nobody's paying attention to, it likely won't help you much.

Also, the "first" tag in the list, is the tag that shows up alongside your post thumbnail, so it's the most important one, make sure it's one that really 'clicks' with people if you can.

Hope that helps.

Mindful posting is definitely a good thing.

Thanks for your comment, and I hope you enjoy part two as well! Cheers!
