El 06 de enero fue la apertura de CETAM el primer co-working que adopta oficialmente HBD en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Venezuela está dando un paso adelante con diversos tipos de emprendimientos en el país. Éste año será muy interesante debido al entorno multimonedas que se está materializando.

¿Cómo me enteré del evento de apertura? Era fecha de inicio de año y además estaba comenzando la semana de trabajo. Igual estaba poniendo cosas al día, pero visualicé en X (Twitter anteriormente) que se realizaría esta actividad.

No tenía muy claro donde era el lugar, pero escribí por el grupo de Telegram de Hiversbqto sobre la actividad que estarían celebrando y me aclararon la dirección. No estaba seguro al principio si los tiempos me darían para poder llegar; ya que comenzaba a las 2 de la tarde.

Lo cierto es que pude asistir a la actividad luego de culminar todos mis pendientes y hablar un rato con los chicos de la comunidad. Quería ver a mis friends @eliigonzalez y @wbrandt; pero no asistieron esta vez. Espero verlos próximamente…

Adoption of HBD in Barquisimeto, First Co-working Accepting Hive and Why Choose INLEO

On January 6th, CETAM, the first co-working organization, officially adopted HBD in the city of Barquisimeto. Venezuela is taking a step forward with different types of ventures in the country. This year will be very interesting due to the multi-currency environment that is materializing.

How did I find out about the opening event? It was the beginning of the year, and I was also starting the work week. I was still catching up, but I visualized on X (Twitter earlier) that this activity would take place.

I wasn't quite sure where the venue was, but I wrote through the Hiversbqto Telegram group about the activity they were holding, and they clarified the address. I wasn't sure at first if I had enough time to get there, as it was starting at 2pm.

The truth is that I was able to attend the activity after finishing all my unfinished business and talking for a while with the guys from the community. I wanted to see my friends @eliigonzalez and @wbrandt; but they didn't show up this time. I hope to see them soon...

¿Qué es un co-working? Para los que no sepan son espacios o entornos de interacción laboral donde frecuentemente acuden Startup, LLC virtuales, Pymes no físicas y trabajadores virtuales cómo yo. Estos espacios sirven para afianzar relaciones y generar un mejor networking en el campo profesional. Es una explicación sencilla de mi parte; ya que es un nuevo tipo de uso en el espacio urbano de la ciudad (salió mi toque urbanista).

La actividad para mí fue muy agradable, todo el mundo estaba afuera y vimos como poco a poco cortaron el cordón para entrar al co-working. Antes de ese momento hubo una ceremonia de apertura muy cálida y tradicional.

Posteriormente, entramos y los dueños dieron unas palabras, agradecieron a los presentes y resaltaron la importancia de abrir un espacio que estará vinculado con Hive y las tecnologías. Al brindar, pudimos dar una explicación de lo que es Hive, su ecosistema y HBD. Resaltando la importancia también de que el co-working aceptará HBD como método de pago.

Me explicó zullyscott, tsunsica, filoriologo y joheredia21 que éste sería el primer co-working en efectuar una alianza con Hive y que permitiría generar operaciones con HBD. Me pareció interesante porque la alianza, permitirá la formación y la difusión de lo que es Hive.

What is co-working? For those who don't know, they are spaces or work interaction environments where Startups, virtual LLCs, non-physical SMEs and virtual workers like me often go. These spaces serve to strengthen relationships and generate better networking in the professional field. It is a simple explanation on my part, since it is a new type of use in the urban space of the city (my urbanist touch came out).

The activity for me was very nice; everybody was outside, and we saw how little by little they cut the cordon to enter the co-working area. Before that moment, there was a very warm and traditional opening ceremony.

Afterward, we went inside, and the owners gave a few words, thanked those present and highlighted the importance of opening a space that will be linked to Hive and technologies. By toasting, we were able to give an explanation of what Hive is, its ecosystem and HBD. Highlighting the importance is also that the co-working will accept HBD as a payment method.

It was explained to me by zullyscott, tsunsica, filoriologo and joheredia21 that this would be the first co-working to make an alliance with Hive and that it would allow generating operations with HBD. I found it interesting because the alliance will allow the formation and dissemination of what Hive is.

Este año para mí y por el panorama de fidelización de consumo que se presentará en 2024 en la sociedad venezolana, la inclinación debe ser que HBD se convierta en una moneda de pago más utilizada.

Casualmente, Barquisimeto es una de las posibles Zonas Económicas Exclusivas que pueden decretarse próximamente y la única en el país que posee el proyecto elaborado (no se ha aprobado por razones técnicas y de otras índoles). Sin embargo, Barquisimeto para mí es un espacio que puede adoptar HBD progresivamente, ya hay grandes locales que aceptan USDT y BTC como formas de pago debido al esquema referencial de precios.

Qué este co-working acepte HBD es un paso maravilloso; ya que a mi modo de ver servirá como un puente que permitirá su visualización y poco a poco su asimilación en la ciudad. Además de que servirá como un centro alternativo de operaciones para la comunidad.

Dejando a un lado mis proyecciones, me encantó ése día poder ver a todos mis amigos, hablar con ellos y ver el trabajo que están haciendo. Ellos siempre han reflejado el potencial que Hive posee.

My projections aside, I was delighted that day to be able to see all my friends, talk to them and see the work they were doing. They have always reflected the potential that Hive has.

En el evento también tuve la oportunidad de conversar y adquirir algunas nociones más amplías sobre INLEO. Aclaré algunas dudas que tenía y me explicaron porque debía utilizar de manera más recurrente esta frontend.

También como prevenir que mis imágenes no quedaran como simples links poco estéticos en mi publicación. Se me aclaró que debo usar HTML y no Markdown. Algo un poco difícil para mí, pero no imposible, ya que llevo más de 3 años escribiendo con Markdown. Probar con HTML es una nueva experiencia, y también de aprendizaje en Hive.

Also, how do I prevent my images from looking like simple, unaesthetic links in my publication? It was made clear to me that I should use HTML and not Markdown. Something a bit difficult for me, but not impossible, as I've been writing with Markdown for more than 3 years. Trying HTML is a new experience, and it is also a learning experience to Hive.

También le comenté a los chicos que cuando estudiaba ingeniería civil (carrera que dejé por urbanismo) lo único que me gustaba era programación; por ende, cambiar a HTML no debería ser tan complejo.

Algo que me llamó la atención en la explicación es que se puede postear cualesquiera cosas desde INLEO, pero la comunidad aún sigue viendo la frontend como un espacio ligado únicamente a la finanza. Por ende, voy a estar usando INLEO de manera recurrente, claro, siempre que me acostumbre a usar HTML por completo.

El primer evento de Hive en 2024 fue realmente genial, la comunidad está arrancando con fuerzas y ver que pude tener la oportunidad de compartir con ellos me llena grandemente. Muchas cosas buenas van a ocurrir este año, estoy emocionado y espero poder compartir con todos la mayoría de ellas. Digo mayoría porque hay muchas cosas que están en suspenso y están sucediendo.

I also told the guys that when I was studying civil engineering (which I left for urban planning), the only thing I liked was programming, so switching to HTML shouldn't be that complex.

Something that caught my attention in the explanation is that you can post anything from INLEO, but the community still sees the frontend as a space linked only to finance. So I'm going to be using INLEO on a recurring basis, of course, as long as I get used to using HTML completely.
