Saludos hivers.
Recientemente supimos de un caso que presuntamente está usurpando identidades. Realiza presentaciones de personas que no están entrando a HIVE, solo prestan su foto sosteniendo un cartel con el nombre de HIVE.

La identidad en HIVE es muy importante. Ayuda a los curadores a estar seguros que votan a personas reales. Falsificar cuentas con identidades falsas es lo más rechazado en esta blockchain. Si bien es cierto que cualquiera se puede registrar de forma anónima; los creadores de contenido que se presentan públicamente mostrando su rostro, tienen mayor porsibilidades de mejores recompensas; por lo menos al principio.

Algunas personas pudieran estar tentadas a falsificar identitades con el objetivo de que sean votadas sus presentaciones y después desaparecer. Simplemente, esa persona no publicó más; será la excusa del agricultor de cuentas, porque para él sería físicamente imposible seguir creando contenido en esas cuentas.

En Rutablockchain llevamos años incorporando personas a la blockchain. Nunca hemos tenido un caso de identidad falsa y no queremos tenerlo. Nos tomamos muy en serio que sean personas reales que desean estar en HIVE. Tenemos un sistema que filtra cualquier intento de abuso.

Las cuentas las creamos con @bluemist quien también se toma muy en serio este tema de la identidad. Por eso desde que comenzamos con este proceso en HIVE, la primera condición es la corrección de las presentaciones. Se les pone una pautas a los futuros usuarios que deben cumplir y nos aseguramos que las ganas de entrar en HIVE son grandes, porque de otra forma abandonan el proceso.

Los que llegan con nosotros quieren de verdad estar aquí, aunque también hemos tenido casos de abandono después de registrados. Puede ser que esto no ayude a la adopción masiva de HIVE, pero lo principal para nosotros es cuidar el ecosistema del abuso. De igual forma quien quiere una cuenta sin barreras o de forma anónima, hay muchas opciones para eso.

Nuevas Condiciones

Para asegurarnos que no se registren cuentas falsas con nosotros, hemos añadido a nuestro sistema dos verificaciones adicionales; que son: Foto selfie con cartel de HIVE y verificación de redes sociales con fotos y con más de un año de antigüedad.

Es verdad que pueden existir casos de personas que no cumplen con el requisito de las redes sociales. Son muy pocas pero en estos tres años nos ha tocado. Para esas personas la verificación será por video, que nos enviarán por Whatsapp antes de registrarlas.

Colección Introduceyourself

Nuestra primera idea era crear una comunidad donde publicaran sus presentaciones y así tenerlas en el mismo lugar. Conversando con @bluemist nos dimos cuenta de varios inconvenientes. Uno era lo exagerado que podría ser una comunidad para una sola publicación por persona. Lo otro que dificultaba a las personas que ya venían con un nicho, presentarse en esas comunidades específicas.

La gran solución llegó gracias a @peakd que nos trajo esta maravillosa herramienta que son las colecciones. Así es como decidimos tener una colección de presentaciones con identidad verificada por nosotros.

En esta colección solo estarán quienes llegan a HIVE con nuestra campaña de adopción y a quienes verificamos antes de registrarse. Creo que somos los únicos que realizan esa tarea de esta forma.

Adicionalmente, todas las presentaciones de usuarios verificados tendrán una etiqueta de verificación como esta:

Identity in HIVE is very important. It helps curators to be sure they are voting for real people. Faking accounts with fake identities is the most disliked thing on this blockchain. While it is true that anyone can register anonymously, content creators who present themselves publicly by showing their face have a better chance of better rewards, at least at first.

Some people may be tempted to fake identities in order to get their submissions voted up and then disappear. Simply, that person will not publish anymore; it will be the account farmer's excuse, because it would be physically impossible for him to continue creating content on those accounts.

At Rutablockchain we have been incorporating people into the blockchain for years. We have never had a case of false identity and we don't want to have one. We take it very seriously that they are real people who want to be on HIVE. We have a system that filters out any abuse attempts.

We set up the accounts with @bluemist who also takes this identity issue very seriously. That's why since we started with this process in HIVE, the first condition is the correctness of the submissions. The future users are given guidelines that they must meet and we make sure that the desire to enter HIVE is great, because otherwise they abandon the process.

Those who come with us really want to be here, although we have also had cases of abandonment after registration. This may not help the massive adoption of HIVE, but the main thing for us is to take care of the ecosystem of abuse. Also, if you want an account without barriers or anonymity, there are many options for that.

New Conditions

To make sure that no fake accounts are registered with us, we have added two additional verifications to our system; they are: Selfie photo with HIVE sign and social media verification with photos and more than one year old.

It is true that there may be cases of people who do not meet the requirement of social networks. They are very few but in these three years it has touched us. For those people the verification will be by video, which they will send us by Whatsapp before registering them.

Introduceyourself Collection

Our first idea was to create a community where they could publish their presentations and have them in the same place. Talking with @bluemist we realized several drawbacks. One was that it would be too much to create a community for only one publication per person. The other was that it made it difficult for people who already had a niche to present themselves in those specific communities.

The great solution came thanks to @peakd who brought us this wonderful tool that is collections. That's how we decided to have a collection of presentations with identity verified by us.

In this collection will only be those who come to HIVE with our adoption campaign and who we verify before registering. I believe we are the only ones who perform this task in this way.
