Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000

The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!

Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.

So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!

Today is Day 23/96.
I have reviewed 35/148.

Time elapsed: 23.95%
Review Completion: 23.64%
Basically on par!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways:

• Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
• Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
• Selling some of the collection to friends.

At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!

Chaos Daemons, Fluxmaster

10th Edition Index

Another example that Tzeetch Daemons are really weird! This guy rides on a Disc of Tzeethch and leader Horrors that are either Blue or Pink!

Thia model is 60pts!

Let's check their stats and abilities!

Weapons

Standard weapons: Arcane Fireball; Herald combat weapon.

Ranged Weapons

Arcane Fireball - Witchfire

18" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-1 and D3 Damage each.
Psychic (This weapon has the Psychic Keyword)

Arcane Fireball - Focussed Witchfire

18" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and D3 Damage each.
Psychic (This weapon has the Psychic Keyword)

Melee Weapons

Herald combat weapon

3 Attack, Hitting on 4+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.

Abilities

Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.

Fluxmaster

While leading a unit, when an attack is made on this model's unit, subtract 1 from the Hit roll.

Altered Reality

Once per battle round, change one To Hit, To Wound or Save roll to an unmodified 6 for this model.

Thoughts

100% Garuanteed that the Daemon player is going to reserve Altered Reality for the Wound roll on an overcharged Arcane Fireball to get at least one set o f D3 Mortal Wounds per round.

The saving grace for me is that this ranged attack only has a 18" range.

-1 to Hit for Ranged Fire and Melee is really good and this on a leader that leads the Asteroids unit. (You know? The game where you shoot the big asteroid and it splits into smaller ones? Wait till you see Pink Horrors!)

That makes 23 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 46% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 110.
