A Day With Tropical Heat

In such a special celebration, I wanted to contribute by doing my bit, celebrating the official annual conference of the Hive Blockchain community, as a sign of respect and contributing my creativity through the DYHub contest, Tropical Surge Contest, which allows us to take on a new challenge. On this occasion, the central theme inspires us because it focuses on nature, in all its beauty and in different areas.

Un Día Con Calor Tropical

En una celebración tan especial, quería contribuir colocando mi granito de arena, celebrando la conferencia anual oficial de la comunidad de Hive Blockchain, como una manera de respeto y contribuyendo con mi creatividad a través del concurso de DYHub, Tropical Surge Contest que nos permite la entrada a un nuevo desafío. En esta ocasión el tema central nos anima porque se centra en la naturaleza, en toda su belleza y en diferentes ámbitos.

To this end, I have created a setting that allows us to rest and de-stress, when we plan each weekend to enjoy in the company of family and friends. And just looking at the landscape excites and calms us. Nature is so amazing that it is impossible to stop admiring and exploring it every time we have the opportunity. Its infinite creation captivates us in all its forms.

Para ello he realizado un escenario que nos permite descansar y desestresarnos, cuando programamos cada fin de semana para disfrutar en compañía de la familia y amigos. Y que tan solo mirar su paisaje nos emociona y nos calma. La naturaleza es tan asombrosa que es imposible dejar de admirarla y de explorarla cada vez que tenemos la oportunidad. Su infinita creación nos atrapa en todos sus ámbitos.

Today, my activity is to simulate looking through buildings. Like the tropical sun, its rays bathe the immense blue sea in an environment recreated with palm trees, sand, and fresh air. The idea is inspired by the challenge of showing nature in all its splendor.

Hoy mi actividad es simular mirar a través de los edificios. Como el sol tropical, baña con sus rayos el inmenso mar azul en un ambiente recreado con palmeras, arena y aire puro. La idea es provocada por el reto para mostrar la naturaleza, en todo su esplendor.

Materials:

• Scraps of fabric for recycling
• Pattern
• Knitting needle, pencil, pen
• Recycled anime
• A craft knife and an embossing tool
• Leftover ceramic paint or any other type of paint, markers.

• Tejera, lápiz, bolígrafo

• Un cúter, y un repujador
• Resto de pintura de cerámica o cualquier otra, marcadores.

Step 1.

We draw a sketch in pencil, then transfer it to the anime sheet.

1er. Paso.

Sacamos un boceto que dibujamos en lápiz, luego lo transferimos a la lámina de anime.

We begin to run the cutter over it, cutting without going too deep, and then we start placing the fabric. We use the embossing tool to press the fabric and give the design the desired shape. In this way, we work our way through the entire landscape.

Comenzamos a pasarle el cúter y cortamos sin mucha profundidad, para luego irle colocando la tela. Utilizamos el repujador para presionar la tela y darle la forma deseada al dibujo. De esta manera vamos trabajando todo el paisaje.

Step 2
Use several blue fabrics to give depth to the sea, and add palm trees, sand, stones, and other details.

2do. Paso
Utilice varias telas de color azul, para darle profundidad al mar, les coloque unas palmeras, arena, piedras, entre otros detalles.

Step 3

For the sky, I wanted to use fabric, but I didn't have many scraps. I had to use several combined and blended paints to give it the feel of a sunset and add the sun. I also used markers.

3er. Paso

Para el cielo, quise utilizar telas, pero tenía pocos retazos. Tuve que usar varias pinturas combinadas y difuminadas para darle la sensación de un atardecer, y colocar el sol. También utilicé marcadores.

Step 4

I added details to the landscape. I put a frame around it.

Le fui agregando detalles al paisaje. Le coloqué un marco.

Step 5

The anime wasn't completely flat; I used the bumps to create a residential area. I finished by adding some details to the sand: a bucket, a shovel for playing, and a lifeguard. There are some other projects using this same technique on my blog.

El anime, no era plano completamente, las protuberancias las aproveché para hacer una población residencial. Y finalicé colocando en la arena algunos detalles: un tobo, y pala para jugar, salvavidas. En mi blog hay algunos trabajos con esta misma técnica.
