Greetings, friends of the community! It's a real pleasure to be back here with you. Today I want to share my latest creative adventure, inspired by the Tropics. Thanks to an invitation from my friend @Jorgelissanchez, I've had the opportunity to explore my passion for art and education through a project that is not only fun, but also educational.
Materials Used:
- Blue cardstock
- Markers
- Seashells
- Paintbrush and paint
- Beach stones
- Googly eyes
- Brown foam
- Old string
Step-by-Step Creation Process:
- The Sea Floor: I started by using a plate to trace a blue circle on the cardstock, which would be the background of my tropical landscape. The blue color reminded me of the clear sky and the ocean!
- The Tropical Rocks: Using a piece of brown foam, I cut out shapes that would represent the sand and glued them to the background. This gave my artwork a natural base.
- Marine Details: Next, I placed seashells and beach stones on one side, adding texture and an authentic touch to my landscape.
- The Turtle: In the third step, I painted a turtle and added movable eyes. With a marker, I drew its legs, bringing this cute marine character to life.
- The Sun and the Palm Tree: Finally, I painted a palm tree, a bright sun, and some birds flying in the sky. Once everything was ready, I attached a string to the back so I could hang my artwork, as if it were a painting ready to be admired.
As an early childhood education teacher, I took advantage of this initiative to share this beautiful landscape with my students in one of the four learning spaces we call “experiment and discover.” I love seeing how children are inspired and have fun creating, and I hope that my creative work will motivate others to join in this wonderful activity.

¡Saludos, amigos de la comunidad! Es un verdadero placer volver a estar aquí con ustedes. Hoy quiero compartir mi más reciente aventura creativa, inspirada en el Trópico. Gracias a la invitación de mi amiga @Jorgelissanchez, he tenido la oportunidad de explorar mi pasión por el arte y la educación a través de un proyecto que no solo es divertido, sino también educativo.
Materiales Utilizados:
- Cartulina azul
- Marcadores
- Conchas de mar
- Pincel y pintura
- Piedras de playa
- Ojos movibles
- Foami marrón
- Cordón viejo
Paso a Paso de mi Creación:
El Fondo del Mar: Comencé utilizando un plato para trazar un círculo azul en la cartulina, que sería el fondo de mi paisaje tropical. ¡El color azul me recordó el cielo despejado y el océano!
Las Rocas del Trópico: Con un pedazo de foami marrón, corté formas que representarían la arena y la pegué en el fondo. Esto le dio una base natural a mi obra.
Detalles Marinos: Luego, coloqué las conchas de mar y las piedras de playa en un costado, aportando textura y un toque auténtico a mi paisaje.
La Tortuga: En el tercer paso, pinté una tortuga y le añadí ojos movibles. Con un marcador, dibujé sus patas, dándole vida a este simpático personaje marino.
El Sol y la Palma: Finalmente, pinté una palmera, un sol radiante y algunas aves que volaban en el cielo. Una vez que todo estuvo listo, pegué un cordón en la parte posterior para colgar mi obra, como si fuera un cuadro listo para ser admirado.
Como maestra de Educación Inicial, aproveché esta iniciativa para compartir este hermoso paisaje con mis alumnos en uno de los 4 espacios de aprendizaje que llamamos "experimentar y descubrir". Me encanta ver cómo los niños se inspiran y se divierten creando, y espero que mi tarea creativa sirva de motivación para que otros se unan a esta hermosa actividad.

Quedó lindo y simpático quedó esta creación, y aprovechar estas conchitas para hacer manualidades es perfecto.
Así es a veces estas pequeñas cosas nos permiten hacer bonitas creaciones.
Le ha quedado muy bonita esta decoración con motivo playero, me encanta la idea para hacer la pequeña tortuga con conchas, y qué lindo que pueda compartirlo con los niños, saludos 🥰
Si las conchas decmar nos permiten elaborar una gran variedad de manualidades incluso tematica de animalitos.
