Taking a bath

I have to confess that I love making things with airdry clay. Its just that the material is very cheap, easily sourced and a wonder to cure- just airdry it. I do not need to worry about breaking my bank account.

Having said that, polymer clay is still one of my favourite medium. I can make clay canes- which I am unable to make with airdry clay, make small- nearly microscopic strong figurines that holds much of their detail. So, its a win, win I guess.

Making this bathing pig was a part of my whim. I started by making the tub.

Here's the legs.

And, the basic details I made on my character.

The bubbles are basically just round clay balls. I made it in different sizes, and just did the bubble effect here. There is no written rule on how to make this part. It needed to appear fluffly, soft, bubbly?

Just carry on piling the bubbles to get something that looks like this.

Beautiful art, I love the bubble made with it and the whole project looks nice.

Wahhhh, so kawaii 🤩🤩. You can create different kind of shape using clay and it is more fun that way 😊
