Hoy estoy por aquí para participar con esta linda corona de navidad hecha con DVD's y decorada con los adornos que tienen muchos años aquí en mi casa, eso quiere decir que no gasté nada de dinero.

Les cuento que el año pasado no pude hacerla por que no me organicé, tenía otras prioridades, pero gracias a Dios ya tengo una gran y muy bonita corona hecha por mí.

I want to tell you that last year I couldn't make it because I didn't organize myself, I had other priorities, but thanks to God I now have a big and very beautiful wreath made by me.

Aquí en mi calle no tienen esté tipo de decoraciones con reciclaje, así que esta corona probablemente llame la atención de mis vecinos a quienes espero que les guste también. 🤣

Here on my street, they don't have this type of recycled decorations, so this wreath will probably catch the attention of my neighbors, whom I hope will also like it. 🤣

Este tipo de decoración es usual en las escuelas. Hace más de diez años en el colegio en el que trabajé como maestra, mis alumnos y yo hicimos decoraciones navideñas con DVD's y quedaron igual de lindas que esta.

This type of decoration is common in schools. More than ten years ago, at the school where I worked as a teacher, my students and I made Christmas decorations with DVDs and they turned out just as beautiful as this one.

Hacer este tipo de manualidades me encanta sin lugar a duda porque estoy dándole uso a un material que usualmente iría a la basura, y tarde o temprano en un lugar que no necesariamente es para almacenar basura: debemos hacer lo posible por cuidar nuestro ambiente.

I love doing this kind of craft without a doubt because I'm giving use to a material that would usually go to waste, and sooner or later in a place that is not necessarily for storing garbage: we must do our best to take care of our environment.

• 2 flaps from a cardboard box. 📦
• ½ glue stick. ⬜
• 1 candle. 🕯
• 10 centimeters of wire.
• Duct tape. 🇺🇸

Comenzamos buscando una solapa de la caja de cartón que tenga el radio con el que queremos que quede la corona, colocamos ambos cartones juntos, marcamos con un lápiz todo el círculo y luego cortamos nuestro aro y los pegamos con la cinta Americana.

We started by looking for a flap from the cardboard box that has the radius we want for the wreath, we place both cardboard pieces together, mark the entire circle with a pencil, and then cut our ring and glue them together with duct tape.

Continuamos encendiendo la vela, colocamos el silicón en la flama hasta que se derrita y vamos pegando cada uno de los DVD's en todo el aro.

We then light the candle, apply the glue stick to the flame until it melts, and start gluing each of the DVDs around the ring.

En la parte de atrás le pegamos el cable con la cinta para cómo se observa el la foto.

At the back, we attach the wire with the tape as seen in the photo.

Al lazo le tuve dar vida con la brillantina tornasol.

I brought the ribbon to life with iridescent glitter.

El lazo lo pegué de la misma forma que a los DVD las campanas y la flor: calentando el silicón con la vela.

I glued the ribbon in the same way as the bells and the flower: heating the glue stick with the candle.

La decoracion es según gustos personales, y en mi caso, este es el resultado que obtuve:
