MY SON'S ANCIENT PAINTING IN THE MUSEUM

in DIYHublast month

In my previous post I told that me son visited a museum excursion about excavations and historical monuments of ancestors found in my city.

But it was only the 1st part of our cultural weekend.
The 2nd part was devoted to a master-class (DIY) connected with the topic of ancestors and ancient kinds of decorations and culture.

So museum workers told about ancient paints made of natural matireals mixed with eggs!
For example, black paint was made mixing eggs with coal.
We had a chance to see how she was making it just in front of our eyes.
Really it was black paint, and we had a nice opportunity to paint with these ancient colours.

All kids were given "ancient" plates and amphoraes and "ancient" paints (made by ancient recipes), and they all were painting these objects.
1 hous passed like 1 minute! It was super impressive and interesting experience.

My son painted a horse running on water with flowers blooming there, a rainbow, God of rainbow and some ancient Greek patterns:)
It all were his own ideas;)

Leaving the museum, we bought some nice things there.
I'll tell about them later.

Hello @taliakerch , it is wonderful to make children start with an idea and help them with that, and also to keep these things for them so that they will be a beautiful memory for them and give them a great deal of hope.
What also makes children learn about past history, be informed and aware of what happened, and have more progress.

Oh wow
Your son is really smart and talented with the kind of colours to even choose
I like them

That painting was beautiful, and conveys how you really enjoyed that beautiful experience, I congratulate you.
