Curator Cat: New Bed in my Favorite Watching & Sunny Spot!

in HiveCats2 months ago

Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope your week is getting off to a good start! Around here, we keep watching for spring weather, but so far we have been foiled... today, there was even a little snow coming down. It melted right away, though!

I love my new bed by the window!

The Mom-Hooman organized her office space a little today, and as part of that, she created a whole new sleeping spot where I have previously just hung out on a pink blanket used as table covering.

I love this spot, because it gives me a great view of the driveway, and in the summer — when the trees are fully leafed out — it's the only sunny spot on the "morning side" of the house.

I can see all the comings and goings from here!

It also means I can keep an eye on the Hoomans when they are outside, doing work in their garden, which is right across the driveway from this spot.

Window Cat

Of course, the new sleeping spot is so comfortable that I completely missed when the Dad-Hooman came home from a trip to town!

But such are the ways of the cat!

Basically, the Mom-Hooman took one of the not-very-much-used cat beds and folded and draped a very soft blue blanket across it. I approved it immediately, even though I normally take a while to warm up to changes in my environment... this was definitely a good new thing!

This way I can spend my mornings with the Mom-Hooman, and then move to the Dad-Hooman's work space in the afternoon, when the sun has moved around to the opposite side of the house and shines in under the deck for a couple of hours!

This is a very good thing!

Go Hive, Go!

Meanwhile, we are all (slightly anxiously!) keeping an eye on the Cryptosphere and watching as Hive gradually ticks upwards.

I have always felt like a steady gradual increase is so much better than sudden parabolic moonshots... because this sort of rise might actually be sustainable, and not just a representation of someone "gaming the market."

The same spot, before I had an actual BED there!

Anyway, I feel cautiously optimistic, and excited at the same time as I head closer to my 6th "Hiveversary" on Saturday!

I am very glad we found this community and were able to make a small niche for my cat blog here!

Thanks for coming to visit, and have a great rest of the week!

=^..^=

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communties!

If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
