Emerging trends.

Before we get into the thick of things I'd like to say that it may be a good idea for you to pick up some LGN before we kick off work for this quarter. With the bitcoin halvening coming, and the excitement that's going to crash into us like a tsunami; it's probably a good idea to go and buy some whilst it's still cheap.

As you can see, I've been buying it slowly and I'm not making any real profit at the moment. Imagine what's going to happen when I start making profit! Yes, I'll do like I promised last year. Buy it up, and rapidly at that.

So, when things get expensive don't say I didn't warn you when the time comes.

Aside from that I've been noticing a few things as I've been making my YouTube journey. Being a YouTuber you get to see the trends in public thought when it comes to your niche -- for instance there is a big trend emerging in authenticity. I mean, it's something that I've always lived my life by -- being authentically me, but it seems more and more people are jumping on the band wagon.

I get it. Social media wars have been no fun. Left v Right. Trump v Biden. Women v Men, it seems for the longest period of time we've all been split apart at the core -- but I've never believed that we are. I think at core we all want the same thing, it's that we argue about the route we take to get to our destination.

And big business have capitalised on that. I can't say that I wholly believe there's evil lurking behind every rich persons door looking to break the poor man's back. If that were the case then there would be a massive gap between rich and poor, where we are all essentially living in caves.

But the reality is much different. It's profitable to break people down into their insecurities and wants and needs and pit them against their fellow human. War generates profit, be that war with a country or countrymen v countrymen. It's easy for a business to tell someone they look ugly as hell and only their product will solve that. The result will be that person will now feel insecure and lash out at others on social media about it.

But the reality is, is that we're all just getting a little tired of it. YouTube is the trend starter. If you want to see what's hot with the public and not being shoved on us, then check out YouTube. I love their algorithm because it encourages you to get better at what you do. If my videos suck then my views will reflect that.

So I'm noticing a growing trend in authentic living. People just wanting to find out how to be themselves and to fuck the rest of the noise. It's something I've been shouting about for ages. Stop listening to the pink haired lesbian or the bald headed womanizer on twitter; truth be told they know nothing about your needs and wants, they only exist to feed the algorithm and the money machine that is social media. Half of these views would never see the light of day if it didn't generate a ton of money for corporate.

Insanity is fun to watch, and unfortunately that's what makes them so popular.

The trend I've been seeing is a good trend. It means we're on a path to healing. I guess social media is becoming a normalized part of our culture now and people are getting tired of the insanity. We're no longer laughing at the crazy weirdo shouting about how all men should die in a fire, and we are tired and opting for a more wholseome authentic experience.

I could be wrong of course, but as I've noticed with life there's always the grief period whenever there's a shock to the system, and you have to admit, changing our way of life to incorporate the way we live now was a pretty big one..

So I think we're on the path to a better future now. Call me hopeful, but I've started to see the glimpses of healing in the midst! We are getting back to some kind of normalcy, if we'll ever see that again that is!
