Six years of university life.

Every human being has different dreams, sometimes it is sweet and sometimes it is painful. At every step of life, one has to overcome various obstacles and reach the highest peak of life. Today I am going to tell the story of the friendship that was formed in university life, where there was a new world full of the best sought and found love of life.

It was the 16th of January 2016, wearing my ocean blue color shirt, I went to Mojaffor Chowdhury auditorium where a welcome ceremony for us was arranged by my department. Unfamiliar faces all around, yet everyone seemed familiar. Everyone was friendly and humble to others. My loneliness vanished in the face of countless smiles that day

The definition of traditional friendship in the university appeared before me in a new way. I have seen many friends in school life who have wrapped up their lives in limitations. Some left their studies in a hostile environment and spent their life as a vagabond. I found new value in life by seeing friends in university life. They didn’t stop their study yet had reached the pinnacle of prosperity by overcoming adversity and extreme poverty.

I came to know that hard work overcomes all kinds of obstacles and enlightens life only in the textbook. But I have seen how to do actual hard work by watching my university friends. I could understand how a person can extend a helping hand in the danger of others without thinking about himself, just by looking at them.

There could be such a wonderful match between the 60 people of the department, it would have been out of the knowledge if not in the university. There were some commonalities between all of them. First of all, to help and cooperate with each other, if someone's relative is sick, everyone is constantly calling and inquiring. If someone needed some blood, someone would come by himself to give blood. The great virtue of benevolence, my friend circle is brilliant in that virtue. In addition to regular classes, visiting new places, watching movies, organizing different cultural events, singing, acting, going to different festivals together, eating, making noise at festivals was a daily celebration in our friendship.

These four years have changed the definition of friendship in university life. The seniors of the department were always friendly. Being able to constantly learn new things from them, is one the best things that have happened in university. Life has gained multidimensional experience through interactions with people of various professions outside the university. My idea of teachers began to change. Teachers have always been caring to us. Yes, you cannot wish every teacher to fulfill your thirst for knowledge but they are some of them who is an actually good teacher. We have teachers whose behavior gives us the feeling that we can share everything with them.

Many stories are created in the way of life of every human being. After being admitted to the university, stories are created in my life with new friends. Every moment of my life became colorful with their contact. It's been six years since the story began on a Saturday morning in 2016, but there has never been bitterness in our friendship. May such friendship last forever.
