Good evening and a happy Sunday to you all in hive. Super glad 😊 to be here this evening.
It's quite a weekend and I just concluded mine to be a farming weekend. With lots of frying done.
Today is just great and I know it's a bit stressful but I am glad I could achieve something. I finally finalized my garri production today and it's white i choose this time. I mean for the color. Many does it in red because they will add palm oil to it to change the color but I decided mine should be white garri.
Today after service I was so tired but I was left with no choice than to finish up some laundry and begin my last stage of getting my cassava transformed into a product.
Of course if you are in Nigeria right now you will agree with me that things are really high including the least you could expect as a matches box. But am glad to have planted my cassava last year and I have something to lean on for a few weeks.
Am glad mom could assist me with the seiving if the raw produce. Although I did not want to see her engage that much but it's was the only way to hasten the process.
In side you can see the seived cassava while I was doing the frying. I was just happy seeing her helping me out.
This year is quite interesting with the amount of how people are making and harvesting garri the price is still going higher in the market.
This year, I would say this is the second time we are frying garri.
But this time around we decided to make it white. Though is not really our thing but I just thought it nice to try new things.
Am just exited to have made this today and a big thanks to my mom for helping out with the garri frying process.
