A long night!!!

I was a happy young boy full of dreams. I remember dreaming about the future, thinking about what it would be like when I finally grew up and became an office worker or a cricket player. I don’t remember the exact details of all my dreams but one thing is for sure - they were always fantastic. But as time went by, reality began to sink in and all my dreams slowly started to fade away one after another.

It had been a long night, and I was sitting in my recliner with a cup of coffee. Suddenly, I heard the sound of rain. I unlocked the door to my balcony and went outside to observe the magnificent rain with my own eyes. Now that it's winter, we're used to seeing this sort of rain, so I suppose we're lucky to have such a chance. I didn't want to miss out on the beautiful weather because I adore rain. The sound of rain has always fascinated me.

The intense storm was heating the window, which was fairly near to my bed. I dashed up to the window and locked it, preventing dust from entering. After a time, the electricity was turned off and the room was dark. After a while, the electricity went off and the room became so black that I couldn't see anything. I immediately reached for my bed and laid down. Despite the fact that it had been pouring for some time, I couldn't sleep. It was 1:30 a.m. Outside, everything was so silent that the only sounds I could hear were raindrops and wind. When I closed my eyes, I could hear every detail of my surroundings, I was alone in the room, and I wasn't scared at all.

I awoke around 6 a.m., not knowing when I had fallen asleep, but I got out of bed and opened the window. It was a gorgeous bright morning!! A gleam of sunlight fell on my forehead. Even though it had been raining all night, everything seemed to be dry. Enchanted by the weather, I went for a morning walk.

When I was a kid I used to play in the rain. I especially like playing football in the rain. There are distinctions between summer and rainy day football matches. On a rainy day, there is a lot of rain and mud on the ground, which causes players to slide and drown. It is really difficult to move the ball in the rain. Children adore playing in the rain, and it is always awe-inspiring to see heavy rainfall from the sky; this is a divine phenomenon that reminds us of how magnificent the universe is!
