It is a common trend in today's world for people to try to fix something or someone.
Within them, they conclude that you are broken and as such needs fixing.
Whether such is true or not, they are less concerned but they just know they have a task to fix you.
It is not anyone's responsibility to fix another person unless they agree they are broken and want to be fixed.
Sometimes, people's lifestyles do not conform with that of the society or what the society approves.
While their lifestyles directly hurt no one, we still feel it is 'antisocial' and should be fixed.
While it is true that broken things might be fixed, we need to accept the fact that not all broken things can be fixed.
Also, you can only attempt to fix a broken thing not something that is not broken. So if a human did not agree or see himself or herself to be broken, you can't fix such human.
If someone is an addict and admit such life is a messed up one and needs to change and live a better life, then you can be sure that such a person is broken and needs fixing.
Despite this personal conviction, you still have no right to attempt to fix the person except you got the permission or consent to do so.
It is annoying and wrong to use your yardstick or judgement of right and wrong to condemn another person.
In reality, you that appear unbroken might be the real one who needs fixing.
Bottom line, mind your business, do your thing and live your life. Don't poke nose into other people's affairs, it makes you look perfect.
We know no man is perfect and we are indeed far from being perfect.
Keep your fixing opinion to yourself and let people live their lives. Fix yourself first!
Thanks for your time.
