I do tell people that it's easier to write from experience than from imagination. I don't know about you but I feel there is an easy flow of words when it comes to experiences than when writing from imagination.
This is because, for imagination, you will try to make the wordings and connection perfect, bringing a non-existence thing to play. It can cause one distress at times and other times one can flow well, however, not as much as the flow and connection that comes from writing from your heart and with experience.

I've had a series of fiction writeups settle in my draft and only because somehow, I lost the inspiration, the connection, and flow. When such happens, it's become a bit difficult to continue and if one forces his or herself to continue, they end up making blunders.
Ever started a story or fiction you couldn't complete?
I have been in the shoes many times. What was your challenge if you have had such experience? Did you suddenly get busy and couldn't find a perfect time to complete it? Did you lose the flow and connection, your inspiration?

Experience Or Imagination?

Though I love it when my thoughts and imaginations run wild. I love fantasies and many times I am caught in the act.
I like bringing imaginary things to play, putting them down, and hoping there are real.
However, I don't think imagination can beat experience.
Yes, imaginary things can indeed turn out to be lovely at times but can we really overlook or underestimate the power of writing from experience? No! I don't think so.
Truth be told, most times even fiction writers slip in a few true-life experiences into their fiction write-ups, like it or leave it. Not everything is always entirely fictional.

So to say that there are so many things experiences does to a writer. It gives room for a deeper and wider connection between the world of imagination and the actual world. This in turn makes reading fun and enjoyable, it in a way satisfies the reader because most of the things they assimilate may play out as real-life happenings or experiences and this keeps them glued and connected to the pages.

If a particular book, novel, or writeup gets really boring for you, it's either the writer couldn't balance his or her world of imagination and experience or the writer tried to pull everything from one angle which really shouldn't be so.
One must be able to put the two worlds together and create something unique and beautiful that will capture people's minds and keep them glued to the pages or blog.

Once again, do you only write from imagination? Or do you give room to experiences and true-life experiences to play at times? If not then try it sometimes and see which becomes easier for you and which will aid the easy flow of inspiration. Thank me later😉

Still your baby girl ;)

Well, my blog is more of experience than fiction. And you are right, I am always able to connect everything because I watched it happen before me, and it was relatable to my readers.

Eh ya, send those draft of yours to me, let me help you complete it and publish it on my blog.... Hehehehe.

🤣🤣 the last part got me laughing. I wish I can do that but home training wouldn't allow me lol.

Glad you write more from experience

Hehehehe, it's okay ooo

Glad you write more from experience

Thanks alot dear ❤️

Writing from ones experience is the best form of writing because there's really a lot one can share. I sometimes get lost writing fictions, I also have a ton of stories I started but couldn't get the right plot or right story or right ending to complement it and it eventually got tiring so I just gave up..

I try to write from my heart, it feels better, it's relatable, the words come out beautifully, sometimes with a lot of emotion. I think it's best to always write from your heart

You seem to grab the point. You can relate well😁
Yes writing from the heart beats every form of writing.
