I have a "baby" sister who is 14 years younger than me. We do chat a lot on Whatsapp but we seldom meet as we are staying quite far apart.
Two weeks ago, she had to attend a program by the government before starting her job with them. So she came over a few days earlier to stay with me and went back a day later after her program ended. Because of this, I got to spend time with her and my sons too. My sons really seldom see family members from my side of the family as my parents do not travel much.
We treasured this short time with my sister, whom they call yiyi alot. The boys were always looking for her attention, especially my eldest who always enjoys her presence whenever she visits, since he was young. It reminds me of how fond I was of my own youngest aunt when I was a young girl too. I admired my aunt a lot and always wished she could stay over.
My sister was actually rather exhausted after the hectic 5-day program but she did her best to entertain and listen to them.
My eldest son enjoyed showing her the things he drew and telling her stories. He even confided in her how he didn't really like returning to school after a long holiday break.
Then we took silly pictures together before we slept.
Honestly, my sons were very reluctant that she was going back so soon but she needed to start work soon, hence their group hug.
The next day, she accompanied to go to my pregnancy check at the local government clinic where I did 3 rounds of urine tests only could be passed. She went along with me really early because after that, I was sending her to the airport.
She even managed to sit in with the doctor that day when I was going through a scan. It was rare because the clinic usually is very crowded so it is hard to allow another accompanying person to sit in. Even my husband had not been able to do it yet.
After the clinic check, we then ate a short lunch together at a cafe. She had this bacon carbonara that is very delicious or maybe we were very hungry.
I ordered this mutton briyani pie which also surprised me and I loved it. Rich and generous fillings inside.
After dropping her off, I was actually very sleepy on my driving back so I needed "help" with something to help me stay awake. I ordered this very pretty looking sofuto sundae from Family Mart, a chained convenient store. This was absolutely yummy and it managed to awaken me up with its sourish taste. Thank goodness it was not too sweet. It is also a new product launched with their Pokemon series. This sofuto sundae is featuring the purple Gengar, which is made of blueberry flavour. Yums! Wish I can taste it again before they remove it from the menu.

My eldest son is always asking when she will be back. He even cried saying he missing her too much after she got back. I can totally understand him because that was how I feel too when I was young whenever someone close was leaving.
His younger brother was trying to comfort him by bringing him lots and lots of soft toys to help him feel better, hopefully.
