Many of the people who know me here on Hive know that I am a catholic and that I love to visit religious temples. Now that we are in Holy Week I will surely visit many places of interest in the Venezuelan capital, so the architecture is much of what you will see in the following pictures. They are few, because I went to church to have a spiritual encounter, but my passion for capturing photographic moments does not stop.

Muchas de las personas que me conocen aquí en Hive saben que soy católico y que amo visitar templos religiosos. Ahora que nos encontramos en Semana Santa seguramente visitaré muchos lugares de interes en la capital venezolana, así que la arquitectura es mucho de lo que verán en las siguientes fotografías. Son pocas, porque fui a la iglesia a tener un encuentro espiritual, pero mi pasión por capturar momentos fotográficos no para.

These pictures were taken in and around the Caracas Cathedral, and I try to highlight the beauty of its architecture. The beautiful black and white checkered floor with the organ playing at the end of the altar, the tall chandeliers with candle-shaped bulbs and a heavenly dome and many elegant religious images everywhere. It is a special place to capture photographs, where prayer and tourism come together because it is in the middle of the city.

Estas fotografías las tomé en la Catedral de Caracas y sus alrededores, y trato de resaltar la belleza de su arquitectura. El hermoso suelo de cuadros blancos y negros con el órgano sonando al final del altar, las altas lámparas con bombillos en forma de vela y una cúpula celestial y muchas imágenes religiosas por doquier y elegantes. Es un lugar especial para capturar fotografías, donde se unen la oración y el turismo por encontrarse en el medio de la ciudad.
