What a stupid game, I hate the Numbers Game!
With the flat of his hand, he wiped the game off the table, grumpy because he couldn't win. Whatever the numbers were he couldn't see them and had no desire to admit that he did.
Angrily he ran to the kitchen and threw a glass against the wall in a fit of madness.

The numbers flew around his ears.

So you don't like the numbers game?

He growled wildly and threw a plate onto the ground. Shards flew around his ears.

Do you want to play?

If he had been a dog, he would have pricked his ears and crawled under the kitchen table with his tail between his legs. Now he wasn't sure what he heard, much less what he saw.
A forest appeared on the tiled wall with numbers floating in the air.

Welcome to the Numbers Game.

“I hate the Numbers Game,” he stammered

This is different... if you pick the right number within the set time, the entrance to the time of your dreams will appear... If you don't succeed, you will remain in oblivion forever. Do you want to play?

He looked around in surprise. The kitchen was gone and so was the door to the outside and the hallway.

I'm afraid I can't, my mom expects me with dinner...

Scared?

He hated to be called a whimp and since the kitchen and everything familiar to him had disappeared, he had no choice but to play along.

All right, he said gruffly.

You have 10 seconds, ...7...

Prompt: numbers game
