Update On The Last Segment Of ECW Hardcore TV

ECW Hardcore TV was the syndicated TV show was ran from 1993 through December 30, 2000. The final episode was #401, and it featured matches from the December 15, 2000 Elks Lodge show in Queens, NY. ECW's final pay per view (Guilty As Charged 2001) took place on January 7, 2001. In between the Elks Lodge show and the final PPV event was the last ECW Arena show on December 23, 2000.

Other than non-commentary video from that final ECW Arena show, later dubbed over commentary by Tommy Dreamer and Danny Doring, only were matches and the time between matches. No backstage footage or interviews or promos ever were credited as being filmed at that last ECW Arena show on December 23, 2000. However the final segment of ECW Hardcore TV - an attack on Tommy Dreamer by CW Anderson to set up their "I Quit" match on the January 7, 2001 PPV show - and other non-match segments had the talent wearing outfits which more lined up with the December 23, 2000 show despite the matches on the final ECW Hardcore TV show being from the December 15 Elks Lodge show.

I was able to confirm with CW Anderson that the backstage segments, at least in which he was involved, were filmed at the final ECW Arena show. If this was true for the other segments, then the December 30, 2000 final ECW Hardcore TV show basically had matches from the Dec 15 Elks Lodge show + the backstage segments from the Dec 23 final Arena show. However, no mention of the content from the final ECW Arena show ever was mentioned - nor did any matches from that show get featured on any future episodes of Hardcore TV nor on the January 7, 2001 PPV event.
