My Money And My Songs.

Today has been a good day until something happened. My business went so well today and if I’m not mistaken, this happens almost every December period. The more I sold goods, the more I called my suppliers to come sell goods to me so that I would be able to restock.
The last supplier came to me and we had a nice gist even before we went straight to business to know what I wanted to buy.
I ordered for ten cartons of biscuits and gave him some money already. Another supplier of mine came to me to sell some cartons of milk. I had no more cash on me anymore so I decided to make bank transfer.

I was supposed to transfer $40 which is about seventy thousand naira to the seller. I transferred the money to him and waited for him to receive the alert. Normally, he was supposed to receive the alert immediately I send the money to him. We waited ten more minutes and he didn’t receive it so I checked the account I sent money to and realized it was a wrong account.

Immediately, I screamed and because I already found out that I sent money to a wrong account. I called the person I sent the money to and she wasn’t picking. I called over five times and even called the network provider and the bank customer care itself and I was asked to forget about the money. Why would they say that? I got very angry and called the person I sent the money to over ten times.

My friends were rubbing their hands on my back telling me to calm down and said the person was going to refund me.

I don’t know where this song came from. If I’m not mistaken, I remember that a car was passing by and playing the song. I gently on the Shazam application on my phone and found out the title of the song is “Let me down slowly” by Alec Benjamin.
It was a very cool song and for that short time while listening to the song, I didn’t think about the money.

After listening to that first song, I was actually hopeful. I knew I was going to get the money back. It’s not like I was sure about it but I was just trying to be hopeful by listening to this song and make myself calm even though I was sweating profusely.

Finally, she called me back and after long talks, she sent back the money. I was extremely happy because it was a lot of money to me and I can’t afford to lose that amount of money.
Everyone was so happy for me and I eventually transferred money to the right account.
I listened to two more songs which actually made my day and made me glad.

I’m a fan of Chris Brown but I rarely listen to his songs. I had fun while listening to the song and I was very joyful.

I ended that moment with Maroon5. They did well with the song and I loved the way I was able to flow with it.

wow, you really had an amazing taste to music 🎶

Yeah, I do. Thanks so much

Pheew. Thank goodness you got your money back. Forty dollars is not a little money to let go by, given the situation of the country right now.

It’s a lot of money oh. I’m glad I got back my money
