The technology used by shrimp farmers in Aceh is still traditional. Vannamei shrimp is one of the superior products of fishery commodities that are currently being developed. The development of this species is due to the advantages possessed by vannamei shrimp, namely having a relatively high adaptability to environmental changes such as changes in temperature and salinity, having a high level of responsiveness to the feed given and having good marketing. In my opinion, shrimp cultured traditionally is healthier than shrimp cultured intensively with a dense seed sowing pattern.
