She is so cute! Aww, look at her adorable blue eyes! By now she probably has a line a mile long of people that want to pet her hehe. Though I have never heard of a Javanese cat before. Are they from Java? 😍

Kucing Jawa (Java cat) does not come from Java or Indonesia. The term "Javanese cat" was coined by Helen Smith of Merry Mews Cattery in 1950. It is not known whether she ever traveled to Indonesia or not. This name comes from the tradition of using names from countries and islands in Southeast Asia for oriental cat breeds
