Hive's token emission is scheduled to decline like Bitcoin's but on a more gradual curve. It goes down 0.01% every 250,000 blocks (8.68 days) or about 0.42% per year.

oh okay! any plans on increasing the rates... i personally think a little higher could go a long way
I'd say it's unlikely any time soon. We had a high inflation rate early on and it was not popular with investors because the price had no hope of going up (even though people that staked were benefiting from high inflation).
