Just going back in your post history a bit :)

Hive's token emission is scheduled to decline like Bitcoin's but on a more gradual curve. It goes down 0.01% every 250,000 blocks (8.68 days) or about 0.42% per year.

I'd say it's unlikely any time soon. We had a high inflation rate early on and it was not popular with investors because the price had no hope of going up (even though people that staked were benefiting from high inflation).
