Could an upvoter alter the proxy comment beneficiaries later, but before payout? If so, could there be an option to avoid upvoting other people's proxy comments?

According to the API documentation:
"The beneficiaries can only be specified once and must be specified before any votes are cast on the comment."
Good to know. Thanks.
This is so interesting. I wonder how is it done systematically. I hope I could read a your more detailed post about it through a Hive blog my friend. Best regards.
I did a blog post yesterday:
https://peakd.com/hive-192847/@pibara/first-early-beta-release-of-hive-archaeology-bot-your-personal-bot-for-transparent-up-votes-of-older-posts
I was trying to click it but seemed I can it open it through the frontend I am using. Maybe my connection was getting slower.
This is interesting.. does it reward users in a new #Level2 coin?

By the looks of it, the bot is all level one. It creates (or reuses) a proxy comment with beneficiaries set to the post author, then upvotes that proxy comment. A small percentage is given to the tool author.

How can I find more detailed information about it?

I'll be posting a blog post on it in a few days, but there is some basic info in the README in the github repo.
