The castaways of time - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I dedicated my watercolor to all the castaways and people who died at sea.
The title of the painting is the result of the history of shipwrecks of all ages, made even more topical by what happened a few days ago on the coast of Calabria, 80 dead with women and children.

I hope that an investigation by the Italian judiciary will shed light and identify those responsible for not helping the shipwrecked people, who drowned just a few meters from the shore.

I depicted a fusion of the clouds and the sea, with the boats taking on their color, symbols of the passage of time and the tragedies that inexorably repeat themselves.

An invitation to deep reflection and a message of hope.

I naufraghi del tempo - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi ho dedicato il mio acquarello a tutti i naufraghi e alle persone morte in mare. Il titolo del dipinto è il risultato della storia dei naufragi di tutte le epoche, reso ancora più attuale da quello che è accaduto pochi giorni fa sulle coste della Calabria, 80 morti con donne e bambini. Spero che una indagine della magistratura italiana faccia luce ed individui i responsabili del mancato aiuto ai naufraghi, annegati a pochi metri dalla riva. Ho raffigurato una fusione delle nuvole e del mare, con le barche che assumono il loro colore, simboli del trascorrere del tempo e delle tragedie che si ripetono inesorabilmente.

Un invito alla riflessione profonda ed un messaggio di speranza.
