Photographs to arthropods #11

Sono sempre rimasto affascinato dalle numerose specie di falene che la sera si poggiano sui muri bianchi della casa fino al mattino, per poi andare via non sò bene dove.
Sono attratte dalla luce esterna di casa dove rimangono finche non vado a dormire spegnendola e non sia mai dimentichi la luce interna con le finestre aperte, la camera da letto diventa in poco tempo un punto di ritrovo di qualsiasi essere vivente abbia le ali, nottole comprese.

Ho pensato cosi di fare un piccolo esperimento per censire soprattutto le falene che ci sono. Ho preso una luce da cantiere che avevo nel box degli attrezzi e con un vecchio lenzuolo del letto ho ricreato una parete bianca per attrarre queste "farfalle" notturne.

I have always been fascinated by the many species of moths that rest on the white walls of the house in the evening until morning, and then go away I don't know where.
They are attracted by the external light of the house where they remain until I go to sleep by turning it off and never forget the internal light with the windows open, the bedroom quickly becomes a meeting point for any living being with wings, including bats.

So I thought of doing a little experiment to especially census the moths that are there. I took a construction light that I had in the tool shed and with an old bed sheet I recreated a white wall to attract these nocturnal "butterflies".

Non sono molto soddisfatto dal numero di specie che ho fotografato, ho fatto tutto troppo in fretta, sicuramente questa estate riproverò l'esperimento usando luci diverse e mettendole al tramonto, ricordo che quando ho fatto ciò era già notte fonda e forse si erano già posate altrove. Inoltre ogni animale ha il suo periodo di uscita, accoppiamento, quindi sarebbe opportuno farlo in periodi diversi durante la primavera ed estate.

La mattina presto comunque qualcosa da vedere e studiare c'era e ne rimango quindi soddisfatto. Vi metto di seguito qualche foto, purtroppo però non ho mai approfondito per quanto riguarda i generi e specie essendo un campo che non conosco bene quello dell'entomologia quindi ipotizzo soltanto nel riconoscimento.

I am not very satisfied with the number of species I photographed, I did everything too quickly, surely this summer I will try the experiment again using different lights and placing them at sunset, I remember that when I did this it was already late at night and perhaps they had already landed elsewhere. Furthermore, each animal has its own period of exit, mating, so it would be appropriate to do it in different periods during spring and summer.

Early in the morning however there was something to see and study and I am therefore satisfied. I put some photos below, unfortunately I have never gone into depth regarding the genera and species since entomology is a field that I do not know well so I only hypothesize in recognition.
