"Dystopia" - Original Oil Pastel Painting

Hello Friends! Once again out of of my comfort zone, today's oil pastel landscape presents what I hope to be a a striking and thought-provoking depiction of a dystopian landscape.

The vivid yellow and orange tones of a pretty sunset create a stark contrast to the utterly destroyed cityscape in the foreground. The city towers of unspecified purpose are all ruined, reduced to rubble and debris scattered at their bases. SHTF, as preppers would put it.

In the midst of this mess, a tiny human figure can be seen in the foreground, carrying a long item, perhaps a makeshift spear. The figure's presence adds a layer of depth and emotion to the painting, suggesting that life goes on (for some) even in the face of destruction and loss.

The painting's use of color emphasizes the contrast between the natural beauty of the sunset and the devastation of the ruined city. My painting is meant to be a commentary on the fragility of our societies and cultures, and our collective responsibility to beware what we achieved.

I invite you to reflect on the potential consequences of neglecting common sense and decency by following the paid pipers' propaganda for the "current thing" so prevalent in the media these days. Don't let these MoFus spit in your face and claim it's snowing!

Hallo Freunde! Für mein heutiges Ölpastell habe ich einmal mehr meine Komfortzone verlassen und eine hoffentlich eindrucksvolle und zum Nachdenken anregende Darstellung einer dystopischen Landschaft gemalt.

Die leuchtenden Gelb- und Orangetöne eines hübschen Sonnenuntergangs bilden einen kräftigen Kontrast zur völlig zerstörten Stadtlandschaft im Vordergrund. Die Türme der Stadt, deren Zweck unklar ist, sind allesamt zerstört, nur noch Schutt und Trümmer liegen am Fuße verstreut. SHTF ("shit hit the fan"), wie Prepper es auszudrücken pflegen.

Inmitten der Verwüstung ist im Vordergrund eine winzige menschliche Figur auszumachen, die einen länglichen Gegenstand trägt, vielleicht einen behelfsmäßigen Speer. Die bloße Anwesenheit der Figur verleiht dem Bild eine tiefer gehende Stimmung und deutet darauf hin, dass das Leben (für einige) auch angesichts von Zerstörung und Verlust weitergeht.

Die Farbgebung des Gemäldes unterstreicht den Kontrast zwischen der natürlichen Schönheit des Sonnenuntergangs und der Verwüstung der zerstörten Stadt. Mein Bild soll ein Kommentar zur Zerbrechlichkeit unserer Gesellschaft und Kultur sein, und zu unserer kollektiven Verantwortung, das zu bewahren, was wir erreicht haben.

Ich lade euch ein, über die möglichen Folgen nachzudenken, die es haben kann, wenn man gesunden Menschenverstand und Anständigkeit vernachlässigt, indem man auf die Propaganda der Rattenfänger für das "aktuelle Ding" hört, die heutzutage die Medien durchsetzt. Diese Mutterf... spucken uns ins Gesicht und behaupten, es schneit. Lasst es ihnen nicht durchgehen!
