I have painted this very motif once before, in watercolor. That was three years ago, and I had left out some details then, to make it easier for myself. My fear of adding deep darks is very noticeable; this made the painting look a bit washed out.
Ich habe genau dieses Motiv schon einmal gemalt, als Aquarell. Das war vor drei Jahren, und ich hatte einige Details weggelassen, um mir die Sache leichter zu machen. Meine Angst, ordentlich Dunkelheiten anzulegen, ist sehr deutlich zu spüren; deshalb wirkt das Bild ein bisschen ausgewaschen.
