Church caught Fire due to Negligence!

A few years ago, a Catholic church was completed in my neighboring community, which attracted a lot of attention because of its modern architecture as well as its very high cost (about 15 million EUR).

A few days ago there was a fire due to neglicence on one side of the structure. Apparently, an employee of the church, while removing some weeds, set fire to the entrance door on the side of the church with a kind of "fire blaster".

The flames rose to the top of the building and damaged many of the white ceramic panels.

The damage is estimated at several hundred thousand EUR!

Was it worth to burn these "weeds"? "Weeds" in the form of a few blades of grass and some moss between stone plates on the ground????

Vor wenigen Jahren wurde in meiner Nachbargemeinde eine katholische Kirche fertiggestellt, die wegen der modernen Architektur wie auch wegen der sehr hohen Kosten (ca. 15 Millionen EUR) große Beachtung fand.

Vor einigen Tagen gab es einen Brand an einer Seite des Bauwerks - verursacht aufgrund von Fahrlässigkeit! Offenbar hat ein Angestellter der Kirche beim Entfernen von Unkraut mit einer Art "Feuerstrahler" die Eingangstür an der Seite der Kirche in Brand gesetzt.

Die Flammen schlugen bis zum höchsten Punkt hoch und beschädigten viele der weißen Keramikplatten.

Der Schaden wird auf mehrere hundertausend Euro geschätzt!

War es das wert, dieses "Unkraut" zu vernichten? "Unkraut" in Form von ein paar Grashalmen und Moos zwischen Steinplatten am Boden????
