to be honest, I barely ever eat foraged mushrooms myself. It's quite an effort to pick and prepare the good ones for cooking. Mushrooms are shelter and food to many little insects and their larvae so you have to thoroughly inspect every single mushroom and clean them well (without using water) before cooking... it's just soooo much easier to buy cultivated mushrooms that come without the added protein.
