Today, I decided to try and see a doctor about an annoying cough that I've had since about Christmas time. Of course, when I say "I decided," I really mean that my wife instructed me to get an appointment. So after my first shift at work, I duly rang the local surgery fully expecting to get an appointment in a week or so, but surprisingly, they were able to fit me in this evening.
So, at lunchtime today, I only went for a very short stroll around the park as I needed to walk to and from the doctors after my second shift at work. The walk to the doctors needed to be rather brisk as I didn't really have any time to spare.
The result? They couldn't find anything wrong with me, which I take as good news even if I do still have the annoying cough.
I'll be back again tomorrow.
