Habits Formation - Recap of 2021

I started this blog basically for 1 reason - to introduce positive daily habits into my life and keep myself accountable for completing them daily. New year is a perfect time to take a look back at how successful I was.

I aced the first habit!

And Achieved 10k steps in all 70 days since I started this challenge

The second habit (to finish my last meal of the day before 7 PM) ran into huge trouble in mid December when I had a very hard week in my business and going through it without a big intake of coffee (I always drink my coffee with sweets or chocolate) wasn't possible.

Also there were a few days here and there when I missed the 7 PM deadline. So in total I failed this goal 10 times out of 58 days. That is not great. But when I started this journey I knew that sooner or later this would happen and I have a process described in advance how I deal with failures and redeem myself for them. You can read about that here. I already redeemed myself for 5 out of those 10 failures, so there's 5 more to go and I have ~3 weeks for that.

Going strong with my 3rd habit (Lean - improve efficiency and effectiveness by eliminating waste). Haven't missed a day in the 54 days period since I've introduced it.
And since then I eliminated a few wheelbarrows of stuff from my life and ~10 GB of stuff from my digital life. And when I talk about digital life I talk about that stuff that you need to sift through (family photos and videos, old documents and similar stuff, not 2 movie files :)) I actually managed to find a couple great videos of my kids when they were very young in all that mess :) But there's still plenty to go through...

4th habit (stacking sats) is probably the easies one - and I stacked all 23 days since I introduced this habit into my life :) and up until today I stacked 1.15 million sats at an average price of $47.603.

I was planning to introduce my 5th habit from the start of 2022, but since I still haven't redeemed myself for 5 failures of the 2nd habit, that will have to wait.

p.s. I successfully completed all 4 of these on the 1st day of this year!

Well done! I actually was following your progress and really like your approach :) And since yesterday I started my own habit forming routine very similar to yours.
And for that 2nd habit that you failed a few times you know what Rocky would say?

It ain't how hard you get hit :) It's how hard you can get hit and can keep moving forward!
