Got a free day. Time to do something different for the day. Nice sunny day. We drove over to Kangaroo Valley for a wander and lunch
Tricky drive over Berry Mountain to get there. To think I used to cycle this road a lot. Surface is poor and it is super narrow in places. Got to think it will only be eBike from now on.
Been to the village a few times - first time with photographer mindset. Fab stone building - now Wilde's fine dining
ANZAC memorial and post office behind
Original public school building
Anglican Church across the road
The old general dealer still going in half the site. The other half is a weekend coffee shop
We had lunch in the pub - The Friendly Inn. Chose simple entree type food. Worked well. Nice beer from Jervis Bay - as local as there was
A few fab historic cars. The two Ford Cortinas stood out. I learned to drive in one - we did not have a GT though
Drove home via Bomaderry to do the shopping - easier drive that way
Following up on the old car theme - Mercedes 190 SL in the Bomaderry car park. Reminds of weekends away at high school - my friend's dad had a white one
Dinner: Pizza
Trade action: Bought ASX listed uranium - BMN.AX, DYL.AX, PDN.AX. Naked puts on JAZZ
