First day down in Shoalhaven Heads is a blue sky day. The events of the weekend have me in a "stay in bed" mood. Did drag the body out. Dud finish last week's investing stuff and wrote up most of the blog post. Not ready to publish today
Got on the bicycle late to walk the front section of Seven Mile Beach NP. Always find a native violet - it is a rite of passage
A recce walk for autumn orchids - two acianthus orchids budding
Budding greenhood - lots of plants
A lot of flower spikes showing on these greenhoods - different to the one before
Helmet orchid leaves - not budding yet

A few budding acianthus orchids - as close as the day offers for one flowering. Photo work with the main phoenix was hard. Mynsonnhas my macro equipped phone. The trick - a background blocker - use a lot of zoom - and then get some distance from the target

National Parks have cleared the back trail again - cut down to ground level yet again

Good to be on the bike even for a short ride. Perfect weather for it
Dinner: Chicken ham and leek bake in stages
Start with a roux. Add in garlic, spring onions, a little onion - then a few sliced mushrooms. Did put in some milk and grated cheddar
Pre-fried the cubed chicken and bacon to add in at the end. Sliced up the potato cooked the day before
Bring it all together in an oven proof dish with some grated cheese and paprika on top
Bake for 20 minutes at 180C - yum
