Injuries Pile Up Ahead Of Oxford Clash

in Actifitlast year

As Arsenal is picking up from the world cup players are starting to feel the burden of such a compressed fixture list and the injuries are beginning to stack up once again. Ben White was the latest to pull up against Newcastle having looked absolutely knackered with about 15 mins left to play which is strange considering he didn't play in the world cup and even left early due to personal reasons.

Then we have the injuries to Jesus, Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe who are all major doubts for the next few weeks and we don't know if or when they will return and in what condition they will be in once they get back to fitness.

Arsenals bench looks really thin with only Fabio Viera and Marquinous as options for the forward line to get a rest which they should get in the game against Oxford on Monday.

I do think that they need to bring in at least 1 additional forward and a midfielder if they are going to maintain this push for 1st place and even then it won't be easy should we pick up additional injuries, especially to key players like Partey or Odegaard.

Yes. There is a bit of luck involved whenever teams go winning trophy. Hope Arteta is thinking it through.
