There's nothing like a trip to Brighton! Although it was rather cold today, we decided that our planned trip to brighton would still be worthwhile. The plan was to take a bus there and back, but after a delay this morning left us short of time, thevonlyvrealistic option was the train as it is much quicker.
A picture of Brighton train station at dusk just before our journey back home. Brighton is a coastal town, but we didn't venture to the promenade today as the weather was too cold. Instead, we spent most of our time in the Churchill Square shopping centre.
There were a lot of people out on the streets today. At least there was no wind to contend with today, which would have spoiled the trip!
We all enjoyed a nice lunch in a Wetherspoons pub called The Post & Telegraph. An old bank building converted into a bar restaurant. Nice!
All in all, a good day well spent. We were all quite tired when we arrived back home. But after some exercise, it is a good tiredness, a feeling of fulfilment.

Oooh nice! I personally do not like going shopping during this season, but I do enjoy seeing photos and stories shared by others who do. I do love seeing all those bright colorful lights all around. LOL! Great that you all had fun. Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you @aliveandthriving . Yes, it was enjoyable. The building in my picture looks just like a wrapped Christmas present.
