My Actifit RC: July 3rd 23 - Actifity in the centre of Naples - IAAC #393

A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.

Clear and clear is the sky on this new summer day. Today the heat does its duty by heating a quiet day in early summer without oppressing the citizens with an unbearable heat.

After being at the dentist for the final cleaning I struggled for a long time, in the morning, with an old multifunction printer from Oki. The installation of the drivers of these devices often proves a lot.

Today the arrival in Naples was really troubled. Not bad, inside the bus bottled in a traffic jam of workers returning home, I used the time to do the missions of the contest "We are Alive tribe": Larry is #alive.

The blue end of the afternoon then landed in the majestic Piazza Garibaldi where the mighty steel structures of the Garibaldi Gallery were the setting for tourists who moved in the various points of interest of the city.

In the evening many shops had already begun to close despite the sun was still very high in the sky but these are the longest days of the year and our star makes almost the small hours to set.

In the metro station line 2 of Piazza Garibaldi someone is posing to celebrate the magical stage number 393 of this infinite #iamalivechallenge contest.

After getting off at the station of Montesanto I find myself in the beautiful Piazza Carità junction between Via Roma and Via Toledo where there is the modern monument (the metal structure at the bottom right) the legendary hero of World War II Salvo d'Acquisto carabiniere who gave his life to save many of his fellow citizens from a retaliation of the fierce Nazi criminals.

The square is quite modern compared to the baroque structures that surround it and has a very pretty parish, the Church of Santa Maria della Carità.

This church of 1550 was once larger and contained many works but following the French decade was scaled down to the present appearance.

The elegant, monumental and long Via Toledo today was full of tourists who crowded shops, restaurants and cultural places.

The street is home to a huge number of elegant historic buildings of the royal Naples and as you get closer to Piazza plebiscito more important was the family that had built them.

Beautiful is the Vanvitellian Berio Palace with the characteristic chromatic combination of the brilliant Neapolitan architect of Dutch origins.

At some point, my friend Vesuvius, appears in today’s episode of our Neapolitan trip at the beginning of the week. Sometimes the optical effects greatly amplify its colossal size.

Once in Piazza Trieste and Trento, the games of sunlight that started at sunset created an evocative atmosphere resulting from centuries of masterful performances of architectural works of remarkable ingenuity and innovative ability.

The Gambrinus coffee is one of the most beautiful and exclusive bars in Naples where his entrepreneur has made school in our country. He never spared no expense and brought with his bar excellence confectionery and European food until going bankrupt but leaving history a legendary local metropolitan.

I don’t pay for the weekend at sea I begin my descent towards one of the primary sources of Neapolitan life: the Caracciolo promenade. The Royal Palace that in this photo is on my left, in fact, is built on a small high relief near the sea of the city port.

Hey, what’s going on? Going back in time we find the same panorama and almost 80 years have passed since the last eruption of Vesuvius that gave the panorama the conformation that now, the whole World that comes to see us, admires. To be scrupulous it must be said that with each eruption the panorama varies.

Hey, it’s true. It’s all black and white.

Did we go back to Roman times?

Ok enough with the jokes and here are the original colors of today’s enchanted landscape.

Eh, yeah, I’m not done messing around with the camera in fact.

Today the sea is enchanting and stimulates the imagination. Lately the boats that crowd the gulf are as numerous as ever.

I don’t pay for the weekend’s efforts I face the climb of this beautiful staircase of Via Cesario Console recently restored and ready to be immortalized in a magnificent shot.

Even the stele of life. Modern monument symbolizing the city’s struggle against the Camorra has been quite restructured and is now almost out of its state of neglect and decay in which it was over.

Over time, humidity begins to make the shots difficult and to be able to take back the distant monuments you have to resort to some photographic stratagem.

Slowly we abandon the monumental Piazza del Plebiscito.

I start towards the metro 1 of Piazza Municipio along the Savoyard gallery.

In the gardens of the Royal Palace the evening light falls.

While the red rays of sunset begin to put the evening dress to the Maschio Angioino monumental castle built by the French dynasty of Anjou.

A modern work has been installed in Piazza Municipio that testifies where the inspiration of contemporary artists has ended. It’s the art of recycling.

While my thoughts go to orient themselves in the dreams that represents that monumental boat that giganteggia to the center of the pier Beverello I start towards the avenue of the return.

Arrived quickly home we still have a moment to take a last snapshot at a magical sunset.
