Actifit RC: December 7 23 - The hard climb to Paradise

The Neapolitan winter gives us long periods of sun and good weather. It is really rare that it rains throughout the winter. As you can see from the photo, the sun is beginning to take over even if the temperatures are now very cold.

Today, at early morning, I have an appointment with my accountant who had problems with the activation of the digital signature for one of her clients and I gave him a hand to extricate between the various providers and finally decided to provide another way because she understood that the expenses were huge compared to what you agreed with your client.

After this task I took public transport and I popped up, as often happens, at the station of line 2 of the Montesanto metro.

The church of Montesanto is celebrated for Christmas and emerges impetuously in the photo in the center of the scene.

I’m here because I had to go to the bank and collect a refund for water bills and to take a few tens of euros I had to miss a half morning in Naples.

From afar I had seen this beautiful church lying at the peak of a really steep climb that I walked with great vehemence.

When I got to the top I imagined what those who attended this church and performed the religious services had to try because to get there it takes a great will power. Taking this route is a good test for athletes.

In this life there are several climbs like these and almost all culminate with a church at the end. The Neapolitans in the Renaissance must have been very religious people. But there is also another reason why there are so many churches in Naples.
