Old tools & Actifit April 8 2024

in Actifitlast month

From old houses to old tools, hehe :) Have you heard before the term "french key wrench"? When I was a kid, it was the only type of adjustable spanner type of key I have seen mechanics and other people use so often, as it was the most common type. But, I never got to see so many and in different sizes, all in one place. This guy is a collector, but not just as a hobby, he sells old tools and old things in general. Most of these tools can still be used, but some of them look so cool, they should be put on a museum display.

Awesome tools my friend I'm definitely a tool guy!😄
I have never heard the term french key wrench.....
Over here we have adjustable wrenches that we call crescent wrenches they don't look anything like the first photo.
Are these wrenches adjustable?
Some of the other tools are very familiar including the hand screwdriver/drill my grandfather had one I used it all the time as a kid!

Yes they are adjustable, you turn the handle left and right.

That’s very interesting, this tool functions exactly like what we call an adjustable crescent wrench over here. It looks like he did an excellent restoration!👍

An interesting collection! Some I recognize and some I don't. It's good that there are people who do collect the old stuff. Many young folks of today might not know what they are or what they're used for.

Thanks for sharing, and an excellent job with your 11545 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!

Honestly, I’ve never seen these kind of spammers or tools before
They’re for the GenY😂
