Monday saw me total another 18K+ steps as I had a very full day. Picking the day up at midnight meant I was still out at the Duggal Greenhouse to see The Chainsmokers on a school night. Totally worth it to see the iconic DJ duo doing its thing.
I scurried out of there when they finished just a touch before 3am, and like clockwork, I made it to the bus stop just a few minutes before the B54 took me all the way home. I managed 4 solid hours of sleep before school, which did just enough to get me through the day.
It certainly wasn't easy to get through a tired Monday, but the lesson plans were sharp and helped immensely with the preparation. My students did a great job at finding unit rates to compare values in word problems, which was very encouraging for our last week of the first trimester. I can't believe we are 10 weeks into the school year already.
I made sure to get home from school straight away and made a quick meal of sautéed beef and steamed broccoli. I chowed down and then washed up before a well-deserved early night to sleep. Huzzah! Until next time...
