Tuesday in Sardinia was our first full beach day! We got a late start because who doesn't love to sleep in on their vacation?! After a leisurely breakfast of peftover pizza and croissants, we stopped by the grocery store for some lunch supplies. Scooped some flat bread, sliced meats, smoked cheese, and arugula for some tasty beachside snacks.
Shame about my busted FitBit. It has two huge cracks on the screen, so I can't take it into the water with me on this trip. I missed out on tons of steps in the beach and swimming around in the water. Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
In the cover image is a delicious plate I had for dinner on our way back from the beach. It was marinated lamb tartare with quail egg and pickled onions. After this great snack, we each slammed a plate full over Napolitan pizza. Yum!
Hopefully, I'll be able to get a more accurate count of my steps tomorrow. But I wouldn't bet on it because it will be hard for me to use my busted FitBit with so many different activities to do. Until next time...
